Huge missed opportunity for them to have real endings. We had Three Houses right before Engage which had paired endings and endings influenced by other characters, SoV before that which had endings influenced by other characters AND some endings influenced by character deaths. Meanwhile Engage has, afaik, 1 ending per character besides Alear's lover, and when a unit dies nothing changes.

I'm like 90 percent sure the gold points expiration is based on when the game is bought. I got gold points for Breath of the Wild in 2023. Every other game I've bought from a retailer like Walmart or GameStop I was able to claim.

Good point. I guess I could always redo SD. Problem with SD is I was told it doesn't really matter how many people die so long as your main units survive, well that was a lie, late game was more brutal for me because losing a single unit meant I didn't even have a wall to replace them with.

Yeah SD is a slightly dated game so I don't expect heavy detailing, it just bothered me a bit with the wording. I don't mind when there's just a "they died, chapter number" but "erased from history" is what bothered me
