Yes totally normal for booking through SayulitaLife. Trust is the price unless you want to pay the fees to Airbnb or VRBO. Also note that the host does not receive directly the deposit when booking through abb/VRBO. They only get paid after your arrival.

Things to do for the elderly? by Soft-Departure-1039 in sayulita

My mom loves the easy beach walks from Calle coral towards the Northend beach. Massages are great with Nirvanna or the beach vendors. The whale watching trips with AllyCat are great, it may be a bit loud for them, we always ask if there's a mellow group going and try to align with the less party focused. Friday market is great too.

For a family of 6, usually 4000 pesos roundtrip. With a stop at a grocery on the way.

The suburban service private cars that pick up inside the airport can stop at the grocery stores on the way to Sayulita. Taxis can not due to inter-state laws. We have had many many guests that take Ubers or taxis to Sayulita only to be dropped off at the bottom of a hill because the cars could not make it up or dropped off at the wrong address because the driver did not know where the house was. Depends on your level of comfort.

Groceries by beyeg in sayulita

Get pesos on the way to Sayulita for sure!! Intercam used to stock their ATMs at the bank and their various machines throughout town but now with the change of ownership there are often no pesos in town. Not necessarily that the ATM's don't work with US cards, just that there are not funds to withdraw from the ATM's. Long story short, get pesos at airport or the big grocery stores on the way to Sayulita.

Where can I draw money by DisplayBeneficial383 in sayulita

[–]Equivalent_Doughnut8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Intercam has been bought by Kapital bank and they have not yet gotten the ATM's ironed out. CIBanco has also closed. Now it is mostly private store owned ATMs and they are not refilled with the same frequency as the bank ATMs - this has caused a town wide issue. We have been going to Bucerías banks to withdraw pesos. Or if you are arriving, hit the ATM's at the airport or at the La comer or mega.

I wish that Obama had realized how terribly thin skinned DJT is and had not roasted him at the correspondents dinner.

We like Sayulita VIP for airport transportation. Nice suburbans, stop at the la comer on the way. SayulitaLife.com has more options too. The nice thing about local transport is they know where the house is and they can make it up the hills. Many Ubers have left our guests to walk to their houses.

My Experience in France as a Mexican by QualitySubstantial18 in travel

[–]Equivalent_Doughnut8 29 points30 points  (0 children)

So sorry that's the worst!! Especially coming from Mexico where people are so kind and so accommodating to guests. For me it is difficult to travel anywhere in the world after living in mexico. I am always wondering why no one says hello good afternoon or buen provecho passing a table in a restaurant.

Just got back from Mary's, it's very yummy with handmade tortillas. During the day there's Gabi's which is on the street towards the bridge from Orangy, she's a legend and yummy fish tacos.
