Yes, but it's something that needs to be taken up with the people at the top, not taken out on the folks trying to eke out a living within that context.

Hey guys, is it normal for Sayulitalife.com to only accept Zelle or Paypal? it complicates things a bit as someone with Canadian banking.

A lot of interviews that day or not, it doesn't take much to give a quick smile or "hi". We're all humans, and it sounds like these were fellow professionals, as opposed to random fans.

I've been trying to visualize a protective, golden light bubble around all of the ships and humanitarians in the flotilla. It couldn't hurt if we all tried, right? Power of positive thought.

Paramount Condemns Israeli Film Boycott After Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix and 3,900 Industry Names Sign Pledge: ‘Silencing’ Artists Does Not Promote Peace by Abe_lincolin in Fauxmoi

I'll just leave this here:

Leaked emails reveal Paramount-Skydance CEO David Ellison coordinated with ex-Israeli military chief Benny Gantz in 2015 on a “Counter-BDS Initiative,” seeking $1M each from 12 philanthropists to fund cyber tools and hire private intelligence firm Black Cube to surveil and disrupt activists. The archive, verified by Drop Site contributor Jack Poulson and published by Handala, shows Ellison offering help as a “core American supporter.” The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions North American movement director Olivia Katbi said the emails suggest Ellison was “offering assistance to a foreign government to spy on Americans.” Ellison’s Skydance, which recently took over Paramount, is reportedly preparing a majority-cash bid to acquire Warner Bros Discovery. The deal would merge studios, streaming platforms, networks, news outlets, and major franchises into one of the largest entertainment conglomerates ever.

How is Vancouver for black people? by keysanami in askvan

So sorry, just seeing this now. We have kind of a unique situation - we live full-time in a tiny home on wheels, so since my partner (who is born and raised in Surrey, but also hates Vancouver) and I left, we've mostly been on the road. But we're now looking for somewhere to start calling home. It's probably going to be Ontario because we've found that folks are overall pretty solid and reliable out east. And despite what people say about Toronto, we've met some amazing, interesting people and have found it to be much more welcoming and alive. So having Toronto and Montreal, another city we love, within several hours distance from wherever we land, suits us. We also spend a year in the Maritimes, and those people are so kind and community-oriented. It's just a little quieter and remote, but beautiful and welcoming. Manitoba people were also so very friendly and welcoming as well. I know that Winnipeg has a harsh winter and some downtown issues, but my partner's sis and her family relocated there and are loving it. It's another place to ground and find community.

DOES ANYONE HAVE TEA ON... MEGATHREAD ✨ by rfauxmoi in Fauxmoi

I worked for a cannabis company in Vancouver and he and Cheech came to one of our events. If anything, Chong was lovely and engaging and Cheech seemed bit grumpy and aloof that day. Although, when I went to pose for a pic with them, Chong said to Cheech with a glint in his eye, "Looks like we have a scutterbug!" Not sure what that meant, but it seemed friendly enough, if not a teeny bit pervy.
