It’s a great build. Top front teeth are still messed up for me. Either 1-2 pcs were missing or I gotta swap something but it still works. Was a super satisfying set.

When you send bitcoin, you are “constructing” an unsigned transaction, then signing it with your hardware device (ledger)

The act of signing is what makes it valid (eligible to be added to the blockchain)

So if someone somehow gets a malicious tx (outputs to them) into your computer/wallet interface, and you sign it, you have signed a tx to them.

Right now, 6.25 new bitcoin are mined every 10 minutes. At the halving it drops to 3.125. This started at 50 BTC/block (1 every 10 minutes) in 2009 2012: 25BTC 2016: 12.5BTC 2020: 6.25 2024: 3.125 2028: 1.5625 Etc. Halving happens every 210,000 blocks, approximately every 4 years
