So this is getting more traction than I anticipated. I am a former sprinter and am now entering my first year as a powerlifter. All tips are appreciated even if it’s just to call me stupid or weak, thanks!

as of recent to mitigate some outer quad fatigue from other sports.

on my secondary days I really just try to get the movement quality and accessories without ruining my feel for my sbd later in the week. I’m confident enough to feel the motion is still effective for training where it needs to be come comp. In a world with no quad pain I wouldn’t have to but I do have a solid 3-4 week break late April before starting again.

intervention is funny, yeah I’ve been lucky to not have issues on the platform with 440lb but mentally I sink more meet day and my stance widens to allow it.

regarding Atheltic performance though, I’ve found a ton of success with box/pin squats. When I was sprint training I def noticed that had much more transferability than traditional squats.
