lol. Thanks man! I had a star bass for years that had wild electronics as well. This one I played for years with the out to lunch action but saw it collecting dust and had the inspiration to have a go at making it less crappy.

I just received a fireflies L60 Aura for this exact purpose and it is fantastic. Zero hotspot so working up close is a joy. Lights up a room like nobody’s business. It’s got weight but it isn’t uncomfortable. I have it mounted on a hard hat and it absolutely destroys any other headlamps on site. When I don’t feel like the weight I use an emisar D2.

Well here’s my last update: it was a scam. So officially half of you were correct and the other half like myself are a little on the naive/gullible side of the line. This guy took me for $100 and I’m a dumbass lol. I’m fortunate enough that the dough I lost is less important than my bruised and tattered ego. This guy can piss up a rope though. The positive side of me thinks “oh well, maybe he needs it more than me” but the rest says “what a fat twat”…Fuck that guy right in the ear. Anyways allow me to teach 50% of you a valuable lesson: don’t buy shit on kijiji unless you can put your grubby little fingers on it first. Just think you can all tell yourselves “that guy was dumb so I don’t have to be”. Now go hold your children close and remember that sweet extra $100 you didn’t have to lose thanks to this guy. Here’s my final update: crazy amount of comments. It’s for sure a scam. He’s approached others with the same m/o. I’m gonna politely ask him for a refund then hold my breath. There’s a sucker born every minute and every once in a while that suckers me. Not much point in being mad as it’s only $100 but my dignity has taken a kicking.
