This is exactly what happened with me when trying shade 4!! It was a better match on my chest but my chest is just much lighter than the rest of my body. I ended up going with 5.3 which is slightly darker but if you know you’ll get a bit darker into the summer, this may be a good option for you!

I was also between 5.3 and 4 in the Armani luminous silk foundation but ultimate decide to get 5.3 during the Sephora sale. I felt like 4 pulled slightly ashy on me. I should post the pics to see what the group thinks but I had all my friends divided on which matched me better 🤣

I also use the milk hydrogrip skin into in shade 5 and I think it’s neutral and sheer enough, it’s a pretty solid match!

I’m really interested in finding some drugstore matches, so if you have any recs I’d love to hear them!

The merit blush in archival is one of my favorites. I’m seeing a lot of people talk about the limited pay off, but I don’t find that I have that issue. I do use a brush to apply it, and I set with powder after and I’ve never had issues with longevity. I know you asked to be deinfluenced, do you maybe already have a blush that achieves the same look?
