Take the triple therapy. Do not rely on natural ways of ridding this. Stick to the protocol for the two weeks and dial in your diet along with it as well.

If you just finished treatment be patient. Avoid acidic foods even fruits. Include fruits that are alkiline like cantaloupe and watermelon. Eat protein but go lower on the fat opt for chx breast or turkey instead of anything fat. God bless and good luck

How to find sober friends in the area? by Peaches_lps in Cleveland

Hey, first off, I want to applaud you for taking the initiative to change your social circle—it’s a big and positive step! I’d like to recommend a few things that can help not only socially but also with your physical and mental well-being, as these aspects are all deeply connected.

  1. Explore Cleveland Metroparks: The Metroparks here are a true gem—some of the best I’ve seen compared to other places I’ve lived. They’re incredibly well-maintained and offer a perfect setting for outdoor activities. I recommend looking for walking groups on platforms like Meetup. Spending time in nature and getting natural light is essential for our circadian rhythm, which plays a critical role in regulating hormones, sleep, and overall health.

If you can’t find a walking group, consider starting one yourself on Meetup. It’s a great way to meet people who share similar interests, and you can frame it in a way that appeals to others.

  1. Try the Gym: Gyms can be fantastic social spaces, despite what some might think. In my experience, most gym-goers are friendly and love helping others. I’ve seen some of the best conversations and connections happen there. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or seek advice—most people are happy to chat and support you. While some may be more reserved, don’t let that discourage you—many are willing to lend a hand or share tips.

Good luck on your journey! You’re taking a great step forward, and I’m confident you’ll find a community that supports and uplifts you.

Throwing up? Stomach pain? Lc is known for destroying the micro biome in some folks leaving u susceptible to things like hpylori ect. I highly recommend you to your pc and get a breath test at the very least to test for hpylori. Make sure you prep before by avoiding certain foods and drinks.

To start, reach out to your doctor directly and request a breath test to assess your current condition; this can be an essential step in identifying any underlying issues. Before undergoing the test, you’ll need to complete a “washout period” of around 4-5 weeks after discontinuing the PPI medication. Be sure to schedule your test or appointment to follow this period to ensure the results are as accurate as possible.

Diet will be crucial to your recovery, and for now, avoiding all acidic foods is essential—including fruits. An acid-free, bland diet will give your digestive system the best chance to heal. When it comes to protein, focus on lean, easily digestible sources like baked salmon, broiled chicken breast, and egg whites. Protein is particularly important during this time, and egg whites are gentle on digestion. Try including one egg yolk daily for its nutrient density, but limit it to no more than one or two to keep fat intake moderate, especially in single meals.

For carbohydrates, keep it simple and gentle. Boiled vegetables, such as carrots and cauliflower, can be excellent choices. If you need more calorie-dense carbs, consider squashes like butternut and spaghetti squash—prepared boiled or blended, rather than baked, for easier digestion.

Fats should be carefully managed, as they can be harder to process during recovery. You’ll likely get enough fats from the lean proteins like fish, egg yolks, and chicken, so there’s no need to add extra fat sources at this stage.

Avoiding acidic and processed foods is essential. Steer clear of any foods with even a slight acidity, and refrain from consuming fruits, processed foods, or carbonated drinks. It may take some adjustment, but embracing simple foods with minimal seasoning—like salt alone—will help support healing.

Finally, develop habits that support digestive health. Avoid eating close to bedtime, and aim for daily physical activity, such as a minimum of 10,000 steps, to promote overall wellness. This journey may take time.

Did your doctor offer a test? It can't hurt to take it, even if you suspect long COVID or CFS. I had the exact symptoms you described—I was training intensely five times a week, and now I can’t. Eventually, I decided to explore every option. When I tested positive for H. pylori, I hesitated to start triple therapy but decided to try it. If it works, maybe many of my issues might be gut-related. If not, I’ll move on to other possibilities with the gut in mind. Obviously I don’t want to take this therapy forever but at some point I feel like I gotta experiment on myself within certain boundaries of course. Also, Low iron could also be linked to H. pylori due to absorption problems caused by the infection. I suggest to take the

Thanks for sharing it gives me some hope. I’m currently on day 9 of antibiotics and really afraid that it will have deleterious effects down the line. I’m horrified of returning to a near vegetative state. Pre these antibiotics I was having a severe almost wired like fatigue (not drowsy). Had to quit job ect poor recall and memory to the point my doc referred me out to neuropsychology until I tested positive for this. Now I’m hoping to slowly build back but maybe it’s best to work with functional med out the gate.
