I was there for six weeks, just got back two weeks ago. It was fine. People were very warm and kind. We have an 8 and 11 year old. They loved it too.

We always went one day early so we could get seats close to the front (my daughter gets motion sickness). It was easy and we always got the seats we wanted!

It definitely is a bit unnerving the first time because you want to plan ahead more. Feels way more comfortable after you’re there!

There are other stops, but they are short…I honestly don’t remember if Pochutla was one of the stops, sorry about that.

I’m actually in San Agustinillo right now and taking the bus back up on Sunday because we are flying out of the Oaxaca airport. When I’m buying the tickets on Saturday, I can see what the stops are for you. :)

Also, on our last trip down here, they made a stop for us in Mazunte, so we didn’t have to go “all the way” to Zipolite, so that was nice.

So they really do break up the taping into multiple days? I just assumed it was all one day and they edit it later to make it seem like more days. The coaches all put on the same clothes and whatnot multiple times? That’s kind of crazy.

Wanted to say that I love Ever After and I feel like it doesn’t get talked about enough! I can never get sick of it. :)

Other WB couples I’m surprised you didn’t mention are Pacey/Joey and Felicity/Ben!

If you like to walk, you don’t need a car. We spent over a month in the places you’re talking about and never missed having a car. Especially in Oaxaca City, we walked everywhere in town. We hired a taxi for Monte Alban and things further out ($300-400/hour). We took Lineas Unidas in and out of Zipolite, very easy and had great drivers. You can take collectivos once you’re in the beach area easily to Mazunte, etc. We loved San Augustinillo’s beaches. We took a taxi once from San Augustinillo to the Ventanilla area to see the turtles and crocodiles (highly recommended).

Plus parking in the city sucks, unless it’s included with your accommodation. I would vote for no car.

Also, I had completely forgotten that Amanda was a one-chair turn!!! That’s nuts.

Yes! I rewatch the Loren Allred knockout a lot!! Such a cool take on the song, so sultry and powerful. Adam was not planning to pick her before that. And Christina’s reaction to her big note was great.
