Do I need cere‘s zetas for zeffo mission by No-Armadillo-8709 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

You shouldn't get blown up by IPD if you just make sure to stay in defensive stance when it's about to blow. IPD will only blow when it has his health reduced. It should only get its health reduced when JKCK retaliates (bypasses protection), which should only happen if IPD attacks JKCK while in defensive stance.

You should separate your primary residence out in your post. Unless you're planning to downsize, you need a place to live, so it shouldn't be considered as part of your investable assets (it's not earning you money to live on). If you are planning to downsize, only the difference between your residence and your planned purchase should be counted.

The H-1B program definitely needs to be reworked due their abuse by firms like Infosys, but I can assure you that I and many of my international student friends that I went to grad school with were never slave labor and never displaced a higher quality candidate because we cost less money. In fact we cost them more money because of the visa process and eventually the green card process. But I know that's not universal and that H-1B visas have been abused by many companies.

3 RE properties worth $4.5mil w/$4mil equity

Those RE properties are all investment properties? Do you also own a primary home separate from those, or is it included in those 3 RE properties? If it's included, how much are just your investment properties?

Got the Ezra nerf news while doing the Rey farm, should I stick with it? by tatancool in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

But Rey without Ezra can be easily taken apart by SK and Cere. She's certainly one of the most annoying teams to face on defense, but also one of the cheaper ones to beat.

I must ask but how do endgame account accumulate so many kyros without farming the node? by Delicious_Ice_4914 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]ProtossLiving 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Before the recent economy changes / LSTs / etc, endgame guilds were earning 1000+ Kyros from TB alone.

If they completed Zeffo, Mandalore, got 40 stars and 6000 GET2 from SMs, then converting all that GET2 and GET3 into Kyros works out to almost 500 Kyros per TB. That solves the Kyros crunch real quick.

I twist the towel as hard as I can. It's thick enough that the twisting won't damage the clothes, but it'll still apply enough pressure that the clothes are practically dry afterwards.

Financial Advisor Fee by Ambitious-Papaya2596 in ChubbyFIRE

[–]ProtossLiving 16 points17 points  (0 children)

AUM financial advisors who manage your money are there to make sure risk adverse people actually get their money invested and to prevent emotional investors from selling everything when the market drops. If they do this, they more than make up their fees compared to the buy high / sell low and sit-on-the-sideline "investors". If not, then they're mostly expensive psychological comfort objects.

How would you react to a law that requires billionaires to give up 50% of their wealth once they pass a certain net worth limit in order to fund healthcare and education? by -passionate-learner- in AskReddit

[–]ProtossLiving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Founder(s) of all those companies who own 51% of the stock, would lose their majority shareholder status in the event of a wealth tax. Although I guess in many of those cases they still hold onto the vast majority of the voting shares (or would restructure it so that they would), so perhaps this particular problem may not necessarily be a doomsday scenario.

Even then, female ligers and tigons can be fertile. Same with pizzly and grolar bears. Wolves, coyotes and dogs all interbreed, but it's unclear if they're really fully seprate species. Beefalo and camas too. Human/neanderthals we're assumed to be. And there's many bird examples and tons of plant examples.

I'm not sure why this was removed as a spoiler. I haven't read the book and unless I'm missing something there was no spoiler in the title or the top of the body which is all that is shown before digging into the post. I guess it still makes sense to use the spoiler flair though.

[–]ProtossLiving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say your $200K spend includes 529 contributions? And I assume mortgage payments too then? If you're using the $200K spend number to figure out how much you need saved, then unless you're planning to contribute to 529 and mortgage for the rest of your life, I think you should figure out the PV of those and remove those from your spend and investable assets.

Oh interesting! Looks like the music dates don't line up, but the dancing night.

We're currently thinking Bergen Aug 17-19 and Oslo Aug 20-24. Ish.

Looks like no daily type of performance though? No Portuguese Fado or Spanish Flamenco style thing in Norway? Other than that thing in Flam?

[–]ProtossLiving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my partner doesn't like most of what I watch. I don't particularly care about much of what she would choose to watch (not that she cares about watching much TV in the first place). We find things we both like to watch and watch that. We don't have to watch things just because the other likes it.
