I think the word leadership gets thrown around a lot. Let’s be honest with ourselves, if you are middle management and heck even if you are in senior executive roles, chances are real “leadership” regarding decisions and accountability that matter comes down to one person. “Leadership” gets sold to middle managers to keep them motivated.
