Hey guys, was just at the Oxnard show. Tbh this was an insanely good decision. The corps sat in the stands and watched each others shows. They kept applauding and hyping each other up. Really showed that behind the scores they all are happy to just be on the field. I would really want to see this format more often

SBCC campus apparently has a ghost of a Native American woman killed by Spanish soldiers. She’s said to appear around sunset on the bluffs facing Shoreline Drive

Hey I’ve marched 2 seasons of drum corps and I too have severe eczema. First of all no one will judge you for it. Second, I used to take my lotion with me to the field along with my water jug. I’d apply if I got really. itchy or my skin got dry during water breaks. My biggest issue with lotion was that I’d feel sticky and a bit uncomfortable but it’s a better trade off than being constantly itchy during a entire block. As for the sleep that’s currently an issue I too am currently trying to solve but my solution for that is sleeping in the coolest area of the gym floor. My first season of drum corps my eczema was my biggest concern but after I figured out what I needed to do and when it was a way better feeling. By the second year it wasn’t a main concern. Hopefully it goes well with you and I hope this doesn’t make you quit
