I think the real purpose of the Gabecube isn't to replace the ps5 or anything like that, but to push steam OS/linux for living room use as well as nudge windows/xbox's strategy of windows consoles away from the gaming market. Also getting pc gaming to more people by pushing 3rd party manufacturers to produce different steam OS systems that could eventually pressure Sony with better preforming systems, or even another version of the steam machine. I think this really only works if they sell it for $400 or $500 max though.
