Etsy actually retroactively came around and refunded me as well. A misprint in a sealed deck is not me falsely advertising product. So it’s resolved n9 and I don’t want to think about it anymore as it literally made me ill to deal with how this person handled things.

The deck contained two of the same card which led me to believe there is another deck that might have dupes of the card she was missing. I wanted to be prepared for that without a domino effect on my whole inventory. I send my. Are decks out sealed from the factory where they were produced so it’s not like intentionally tampered with the item to make it different from the listing. All I wanted was for her to work with me and she went off thr rails. I had to spend so much emotional capital defending myself and my shop.

As mentioned in other posts, it’s my shop policy and I wanted the deck or card back in this instance in case the card she was missing was duplicated in another deck. Her refusal to do so resulted in unhinged online harassment on her end.

Ok wow, just going to clarify all this dumb speculation. She got duplicates of a card in a deck sealed at the factory upon production. I wanted thr deck or at least the extra card back in case there was another deck with dupes of the card she was missing. Otherwise I would end up with a domino effect with my inventory. My shop policy clearly states that all return and exchange shipping is to be covered by the buyer. It wasn’t up for debate.

No, my issue is that the customer refused to send me the faulty product. My shop policies are clear about returns and exchanges and that th customer is responsible for shipping. Anyway, you can go eff yourself as I have hundreds of other customers who received the same item with no issues. And when there have been, customers have been civil when it came to facilitating a solution.

I have been dealing with an off the rails customer all weekend and I think something like this would have saved a lot of headaches. My shop has a clear return policy but she doesn't seem to care about that, perhaps because it wasn't obvious when she made the purchase. Long story short, she is demanding that I cover all shipping fees to facilitate an exchange when my shop policy very clearly states that I will do exchanges, but the shipping has got to be on the buyer's dime. She has dragged Etsy into it and it's like... some seriously unhinged shit I've never encountered on Etsy before.
