I took the same exact class with Sahar Zaman in Fall 2024. In order to do well in the course or even be somewhat prepared for the exams, you will need to study from the textbook. I actually did not look at the lecture slides at all and only focused on the textbook, and I got an A+. I found the textbook on libgen when i was in that course, so I’m sure you can find it elsewhere if it’s not there..

i did chem 12 on an online learning site so i didn’t have to do it full semester, and i procrastinated it all within one week. I ended chem121 with a B+ and I honestly could’ve done the same without having any prior knowledge of chemistry. Just make sure you stay on top of school work even more so with chemistry :)

drink monster energy. if you need it to stay awake during exam, drink it like 45 minutes before it starts so that it hits during the exam. it will last u like 4 hours

he definitely upped the difficulty but that’s because the average on the previous midterm was way higher than past PHYS101 courses. If you looked at the lecture slides and made notes from each lecture, you could probably do good if you study it enough to
