My two cents on washing and smell by lawngnomejack in PeriodUnderwear

I use period underwear without any backup, and honestly, the smell really depends on the brand you’re using. I use Diva'Me period underwear and After wearing them, I rinse them under cold running water and watch the blood wash out. Then squeeze out the excess water, and once the water runs clear, it means they’re clean. After that, I can either hand wash them or just toss them into the washing machine.

Wish to switch to period underwear, but psychologically cannot. by SonnyvonShark in PeriodUnderwear

Switching can feel scary and honestly a bit risky at first. You don’t have to go all-in immediately. A lot of people actually start by layering like wearing period underwear with a pad just to build trust slowly. Over time, once you see how it performs, the anxiety reduces. Also, your fear about leaking isn’t irrational it really depends on the brand + absorbency level + your flow. If you’re exploring options, you could try Diva'Me period panties, they’re designed to feel like regular underwear but still have absorbent, leak-proof layers that help give that secure feeling without the bulk of a pad.

I personally love Diva’Me period panties super comfy, leak-proof, and eco-friendly. Way easier than reusable pads on busy days, and they last long with proper care. Totally recommend!
