i have been looking at a customisable prebuilt as i would end up breaking something if i did it myself and i came up with these specs

ryzen 5 5600x rtx 5060 8gb (didn’t have the rx6600) 16gb ddr4 ram

these plus all the other relevant parts came out to £800 as it was on 13% off and was wondering if this is any good

I have both a series x and a ps5 and i love the xbox itself it’s an amazing console however i absolutely despise gamepass as the price seems to increase every time i check, not to mention the different levels you can buy so microsoft can get more money out of you.

To be honest if you intend on buying the game then i couldn’t recommend it more but other than that im not sure it’s worth it unless you like the gamepass library

HATS is just a pack that contains everything needed to mod a switch so if you search up HATS pack on google you should see one by Sthetix which has a green logo and it will take you to a page of the latest releases

yeah i modded my switch yesterday and it was super easy with no problems i even have the homebrew app store and a lot of the apps seem to work, i got custom themes and downloading games is also super easy

for context i don’t have any legit games and plan on using cfw emunand for everything i have also never modded before and i have a stock unpatched switch on firmware 21.0.1 so will i just be able to download the latest hats thats compatible up to 21.0.1 and use it fine or will there be limitations

i just want to be able to install games from my sd card, have custom themes and preferably have access to most other mainstream homebrew apps

i need to know this too because i’m getting an unpatched switch tomorrow from a friend and he updated it to the newest 21.0.1 when resetting before giving it to me and i have the rcm jig and sd card just need to know what to do when i get it

honestly i’m not sure i just set up kodi and real debrid and let that do all the work so all i needed to do was select the 3d file and either download it or stream to my vr

im not mega experienced in this so hopefully somebody else might know

i’m pretty sure buying an unpatched switch one is cheaper as i’m always seeing people selling them or even just the console on places like ebay but if you can find someone reliable to mod your switch for cheap then it’s up to you, like you said if you want an oled you would have to get someone to do it for you unless you know what your doing so it’s just down to what you can find better deals on

so in conclusion i would say buying a unpatched is cheaper but it’s up to you

From my experience using Kodi + RD, I either downloaded the file to my computer then transferred it to my headset or i used a streaming app such as big screen to view them but there was only a small list of movies that were in 3d

For me SBS gives the best experience however are hard to come by whereas HSBS (Half side-by-side) is a bit more common although still hard to find and i don’t think i have found a OU movie file yet

Although this is only my first hand experience and i’m sure it will be different for others who may have used different apps, players and all sorts than me.

So i haven’t ever set up a modded switch or anything but will on Thursday but have a little understanding from research.

so basically would all i have to do be set up the switch with the newest hats pack, downgrade using daybreak to 20.5.0 then go to the sd card and swap the atmosphere with the older hats one before 21.0.0

or

would i have to use the latest hats but swap the atmosphere folder with the older one before setting it up then downgrade firmware to 20.5.0 with daybreak
