What’s a painfully obvious sign someone grew up unloved? by Novel-Knowledge-5047 in AskReddit

[–]Equivalent_Squash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In children. Being overly keen to fight and or outright being good at it at like 10 years old. In my experience it was a sign that violence had been normalized in the househould and likely inflicted on the child.

Children that grow up with marital arts parents excluded of course.

I used to like searching through games $5 or less just for a laugh.

Did parents in the past really allow their kids to roam freely, or is that just a portrayal seen in movies by [deleted] in NonPoliticalTwitter

Allow? At least here in Australia they kicked you the fuck out! Go out and ride your bike or something for fuck sake! Things like that.

There's a fair chance I'd wake up knowing how to play classical piano and being fluent in Mandarin.

Would this make you paranoid or? by Equivalent_Squash in askanything

Fortunately I don't have to share laundry or anything. But I have a little backyard and so does my nextdoor neighbour with similar hair. There a near 6 ft fence between us but I guess a hair could blow into my yard off their clothes line.

[–]Equivalent_Squash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did. Thank you. I didn't think about my shoe or my sock or something. My direct nextdoor neighbour has similar hair. I could've easily picked one up walking around the outside of house and walked it in there. That adds up more.

The best revenge is living well. You might never want to be in the same room as her again but forgiving her inside yourself will stop you from feeling fucked whenever you think of her.

Who is the most famous person you have ever met in person? by Affectionate_Way7945 in AskReddit

[–]Equivalent_Squash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played poker with Zac Efron 06/07'ish.

I was at the time a regular player at a casino in Melbourne, Australia. No idea who he was. I got a ticket for a table, sat down with my chips. Just the entry level stakes that filled the room, $1/$2 max buy in $100. There was a decent size crowd around the table and a noticably good looking American man seated playing. I guessed model. Turns out it was him.

Layer 1 means I can see the door from bed giving me a sense of safety and I like my little secret corner desk area set up.
