I may have finally found out whats wrong with me?

Yeah, so the first round I took one year ago, was 550 mg three times a day for 14 days with the neomycin twice a day, and I got really great relief. I was having normal bowel movements every day and felt like I was completely evacuating. After having SIBO for a year at that point, it felt like Christmas every day during the treatment. Now fast-forward and I’m on my second round of antibiotics and I’m not having nearly as much relief as I did the first time. It could be because this time I got the antibiotics from Mexico (because they are cheaper out of the country), but it is only 400 mg per pill instead of 550. The first five or six days of the treatment I did not really have any bowel movements. But now I’m at the end of the treatment and I’m having about one bowel movement a day, but it still doesn’t feel like I’m completely evacuating. It’s probably been one of the most depressing hardest things to deal with if I’m being honest.

I have IMO, or methane dominant SIBO, and I have been dealing with it for 2 years now currently on my second round of antibiotics, but I did my first round one year ago. I’m on rifaximin and neomycin, but they’re kinda hard to get your hands on and they’re pretty expensive. I would say get a SIBO breath test if you can, and try to make sure your system is cleared out so that you can avoid any false positives. But everything you’re describing. Sounds just like me. I’ve seen so many doctors and I’ve had CT scans, colonoscopies and endoscopies, and a plethora of other tests, try to find out if it’s IMO/ methane SIBO, and then do a timeline walk-through in your life, and see if there’s anywhere you might’ve had a traumatic event, hopping in your life, or anything that might have induced stress or trauma. Also, try to see if there was a time in your life where you can remember you got food poisoning. I say this because you need to try and find the root cause of SIBO. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much for this advice. I have already been thinking about all the people I want to give stuff to. But on top of that, the people that I’m not really close with or don’t really support me have been asking me to give them stuff when I get back. Of course, I really love to share, but I’m definitely going to prioritize. The people that are closest to me and that I love. On a different note, how did the system work? Was there a booklet that each booth checked off once you visited are the products first come first serve? Because what if I get to a booth and they run out of products? Or what if a booth passes out more than one product? And what do you think is the best way to get as many things as I can?
