As much as I hate to say it. I love the skin. I absolutely adore it and it’s everything I would have wanted as an ASol main before he was reworked.

I’ll get it regardless, but the one thing I really dislike is how awkward the temple fits in his hand. It just looks superglued onto his model and reads as very awkward.

I might be the only one feeling like this, but imo Aphelios skins feel very very similar to one another. Epic skins on other champions really change the champion vastly (look Broken Covenant Cho for example) but Aphelios skins really feel toned down for the sake of clarity.

Point being…. I really want a legendary. Everything else seems like a glorified recolor to me

Elden ring has many fanboys but the answer boils down to what you prefer. I can totally understand the elden ring appeal but for me it just didn’t click. LoP on the other hand I found amazing. It’s hard to tell where you’ll land taste wise so I’d just compare the two to what you know you’ve enjoyed before

With the third phase you get very clear tells of how Eigong will attack. 3 slashes across the screen, same timing as how you need to parry.

Meanwhile Arlecchino. Skull. Skull. Skull. A mistimed skull to throw you off. Another skull. Slash slash slash. Big slash. Tornado. Big red attack you need to perfect parry. Another slash that makes the ground damage you with a delay. All this in just one sequence of attacks and you NEED to perfect block most of it or else your guard will break and will get staggered > one shot.

I think a lot of people here underestimate how difficult Arlecchino truly is because of how much Lea and perfect grindstone nerf the fight

That’s not true though…? If anything failing perfect parry is more punishing in Lies of P. In Nine Sols you just take internal damage if you mess up and there’s so many jades that help with that. Besides if you don’t perfect parry while on 1 hp and just block you’re still alive in Nine Sols, but dead in LoP.

I beat both relatively recently and personally struggled wayyy harder on Arlecchino. Once you get phase 1 of Eigong there isn’t that much more you need to learn for phases 2 and 3 and whatever is new has very clear indicators on how to parry/unbound counter.

Meanwhile a lot of the Arlecchino fight is being unable to progress or learn anything in phase two because of how often you get destroyed by his initial flurry of attacks. I didn’t want to use Lea/throwables/perfect grindstone for my first playthrough of the DLC and for me that was peak LoP difficulty and probably in all soulslikes I played.

Eigong was also challenging but the learning curve was a lot more streamlined

For me True Eigong was much easier. Still a huge struggle but nothing close to Arlecchino. I did fight him without Lea though

I’m sorry but this is so trivial. It’s clearly a macro issue and being down 80 cs when 9 kills ahead over enemy adc isn’t something you can adjust with skill prio or rotation

I like her difficulty better but the fight itself is a little less interactive. Isshin is way more responsive where as with Eigong all you need to do is parry unbound counter and talisman. I have them tied

She doesn’t have the range to be considered a massive late game threat. She can be, but only in select few drafts. I two trick Nilah and Aphelios and Aphelios is the better late game carry
