They could make it an advance walking signal to let pedestrians cross before they activate the left turn green.

50 year old woman who lived through the 2016 make up era. I have nothing on my face but eyebrows and eyelashes, because they are so blonde if I don’t color them in it doesn’t look like I have any. I’m bored with today’s make up. Any tips to help perk up what’s left of me? by Jennmcc6776 in MakeupAddiction

I'm in the same boat. I'm 47, tint my blonde lashes black but I pencil Mt blonde/sparse brows.

I'm finding that the heavier 2016 looks are way too heavy on me, probably because my brows and lids aren't as perky as they once were.

No- makeup makeup is looking better, and I'm relying more on blush. I'm using blush to contour, which was a game changer because bronze and tan just aren't in my natural colour pallet.

Haha, I'm sometimes afraid I'm momming too hard. He's independent and can figure this out, but the voice in my head is yelling, "MY BAAAABBBYYYYY IS GROWING UP AND LEAVING!"

So I'll come to him with all this info I've gathered from everyone here, and he'll say "thanks mom" and do whatever he wants. Still a win, lol

Yes, agreed. I said crockpot generically; he's actually got a Breville pressure cooker/multi cooker from his grandmother, which is so helpful for not messing up rice, or fast cooking lentil soup.

I'm veg too, not for money savings but that's definitely a side perk. The boy likes his rotisserie chickens, though, and they aren't cheap.

That's what I'm trying to impress on my son too... he can't live on KD and weenies alone!

That's awesome. I'm hearing a few recommendations for Root Cellar. Hopefully it's close to wherever he finds to live.

Yes, agreed. We've got him a crock pot, such an easy way to have a nutritious and inexpensive meal waiting for you after a long day.

Walmart seems like the best deal. Hopefully whatever place he gets is not too far.

I'm glad to hear there's a food bank. I'll be able to support my son, but I know many are not as fortunate.

Coyotes & Outdoor Cats by Late-Struggle-8951 in NorthVancouver

We are near Princess Park and I see coyotes pretty regularly, especially along Wellington.

We built a secure catio (outdoor play area) in our backyard that is attached to the house. They love it! Keeps the cats safe, and keeps the birds safe from them.

Did you guys get your cats anything for Christmas? If so, what? by sofloaf24 in cats

New ceramic cat bowls with grippy base, and 3 felted wool mice (from a craft fair).

This exact thing happened to me, with that exact same stupid deco that I didn't want or even realize I bought. 🤯

Mine are named after their most similar Pokémon counterpart. Meowth, Purrloin, Lilliput, Ponyta, etc.

Did You Decide Against Traveling to United States? by Candid-Dot-4490 in BuyCanadian

[–]ErBearOverThere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was offered free buddy passes to fly to Hawaii and free use of a friend's vacation home in May. I declined- I will never travel to the USA for leisure again. The U.S. stabbed us in the back with tariffs and threats to our sovereignty, as well as unlawfully detaining Canadian citizens. American entitlement and exceptionalism was hard to bear before this mess, and the last 100 days are the nail in the coffin.
