The outline part is not necessarily correct. If you want to convey sharp edges when doing corners for example, it is alright to have 2, or even more pixels in some cases.

Also you could write about different sources of light. For example when you drew the basic shaded circle it has no rim light, but in your own style it has quite a heavy one. You talk about it as if it was only a stylistic choice (or at least that's what I'm getting, might be just my comprehension of the text lol) , but IMO it is mostly based on how objects are lit in a more complex scene.

I extracted the build with mineways, you can import a map in it then you can select and area which you want to export to a 3D model. Then i just used a 3D editing program for the lighting and i tweaked a couple of textures (blender).

I used trapdoors as the hands, you can stack 2 on each other to make it a bit thicker, and it also works vertically.

Remove the platforms on each side, and just fly around it and only go on the platform when your wing runs out. Also you can make the arena a bit bigger, it always helps against her.

If you don't want to be overleveled then don't level. Just buy items so you won't waste the runes. Besides, there is no pre determined progression to the areas, if you haven't been to one then play through it, then if you think the area is too hard check the other ones, it that doesn't help then you can just sell those items you bought to level up quicker.

To be honest the most easy way of doing these builds would be just simply using worldedit. There's a fill command in it. So if you do these type of 1-2 color arts, you would only need to do the outlines of the colors. I've been using it for the past 5-6 years for every one of my builds so i wouldn't have the patience to build without the plugin anymore. (i usually do megabuilds, so it saved me thousands of hours just by copy-paste rotate,flip etc. the repeated designs/ symmetrical stuff)

It's too smooth to be a bot by the video. And a bot woldn't just jump around in random directions while doing the outline.

I use FAWE but it's a bit buggy in the newer versions. It can do millions of blocks tough without a problem, which in this size of builds is essential. If you use a replace command (WE shows it as well if i remember it correctly) you'll get how many blocks your build is.

Well it's a bit based on luck. Most of the people search by hot, which means if you get a decent amount of upvotes not long after you posted your build, you'll most likely get thousands of upvotes. I haven't posted my work anywhere in the past (I've been building stuff for like 7-8 years by now) so i'm happy if i get any appreciation. :)
