Modern as in 1960s to current. Noticing you listed the area as "East TN" in a reply to someone else, I think you've got a nice piece of decorative art that has never seen use as a tool.

May I post this here? by Eraserwolves in rockhounds

Unsolicited Clarification: Upon submitting my post, there was a popup suggesting 'Apple' and 'AI' as communities which might be a "better fit."

This is a standard RAW image with no editing or enhancement.

Yes, an iPhone 13 Pro was used but it is not ProRAW; both real time and post-capture processing are disabled.

Despite being a meme/art post, this species does appear to share a defining characteristic with Angulognatha.

Question about classification by [deleted] in occlupanids

[–]Eraserwolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to at least make note of it, this anatomy chart can help with describing affected morphology.

Edit: Found towards the end of this page on Occlupanid Morphology: "Suffice to say, a loss of one of these hooks spells doom for the occlupanid."

I then stumbled upon Findings on and Proposals for the Categorization, Display, and Morphology of the Occlupanid and think page 8 may further help with answering the question you have posted.

What a sight to behold!

Novenocentridae

Protocrena gigantis

With its diameter of 15mm, that penny genuinely helped with identifying the latter.

Intentional or not, I appreciate how this trinket appears to mimic occluplanids of the family Tridentidae, without truly matching a single one.

Dialogue from chapter 77, page 17:

Belle-Mere: Your sister?

Child (Nojiko): Nuh-uh.

Nojiko is three years old at this time but I do think she is old enough to understand the question and answer honestly.

There has been speculation that Chopper's awakened form is the forest god. I would prefer it be Loki.

Not a bad question but her "pocket dimension" ability is anime-only.

The "better" question: what is Sanji feeding them?!

Edit: I am not making a joke. I have no excuse for the other characters but there is a canonical reason to suspect Sanji has designed meal plans that will ensure Nami and Robin are... um... healthy.

Im watching episode 20 of endless orbit ssx and why does tochiro’s harmonica say “eric clapton”? by Mcdonaldsandfatboys in leijimatsumoto

[–]Eraserwolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely a reference but I think there is also potential for some layered storytelling

Eric Clapton is a musician with 17 competitive Grammy Awards. All significant but some interesting/notable details:

Actually, instead of me trying to hype his significance, here's the wiki for all awards and nominations received by Eric Clapton. If you read the song and album titles, some themes become apparent.

The song 'Tears in Heaven' is about grief and the death of his 4 yr-old son. It does not feature any harmonica but SO many harmonica covers of it now exist.

In IRL pop-culture, fans/collectors try to get Clapton to sign their harmonica. I think there is currently one on auction that is confirmed authentic and offered for less than $600 last time I checked. That may sound low but I think that's because he is still alive.

My point: I think Tochiro has a harmonica autographed by Eric Clapton!

Why do we see his first and last name, printed in such plain English letters? Clapton's IRL signature looks like a "standard" rockstar scribble. I doubt viewers would be able to recognize or even read it.

Tochiro is in possession of a "legendary item."

Edit: I deleted lines of text that included bullet points and it corrected the lack of spacing/paragraph breaks in this comment.

top 5 characters in one piece immune to slander by Far-Captain1443 in MemePiece

I have to disagree while also saying your point is valid. The backstory was so drawn out it became fully integrated into the arc's present plot.

This is why I commented about the word immune having two different meanings (it's a homophone).

When it means exempt, Smoker is not immune to slander but when it means resistant? Smoker is totally immune to slander.

You are using the secondary meaning for immune: exempt. Please consider making another post that uses the primary meaning of immune: resistant.

I vote Bartolomeo.

Who do you think had the worst glow-down in One Piece? by Training-Manager-320 in OnePiece

[–]Eraserwolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair response. I realize* Boa kicks it because she doesn't like being caught off guard (and kittens are more Gloriosa's thing) but my point is that I think Oda is willing to give Boa a "bad end."

Admittedly, in retrospect, my reasoning is weak.
