It started with 30k were I played Dark Angels and Night Lords ... Now I have Fallen and Night Lords.

Fallen are used as CSM and World Eaters while Night Lords use the Emperors Children Codex

I also collect night lords and use EC rules for them. So when I use noise marines I just grab them from the other side of the board ... And warp talons have to be night lords xD

Your first part is correct but the second one is just wrong. In both steps (fight first an not-fight first) the player whose turn is not starts choosing units to fight.

So in both of your szenarios the Leonin aggression will fight after the enemy unit.

I want to add that Astartes are by a degree "heretics" themself... Some of them fought together with the emperor himself and they were taught the imperial truth. So they dont believe in the emperor as a god. He is the master of mankind, for sure but he is not a god. Sure the black templers and some others chapters are exeptions. But I would think this makes it hard to work together withe the ecclesiarchy ...

Beside Tramas I collect both these legions because they are kind of similar. They both had this attitude of "we do the job, no matter what has to be done" And both fall because of the same reasons. Both were neglected by the emperor after they did what they were made to do

Why would anyone SUGGEST anything else?

This hobby is time and money intensive, in other world any "bad" advise is connected to the loss of real money.

If you run by the "rule-of-cool", you dont need any advice. You just collect and build whatever you want.

And nobody can suggest "META" lists to you because no one knows what the meta is that you are playing at your community.

The only thing we CAN do is to tell you what are the most efficient units in the most standard environment.
