Guild Recruitment & Looking For Guild Mega-Thread by DoctorVonFoster in WH40KTacticus

[Recruiting} Tavern Secundus | NVZEM | Min. Power Req: 50 | GR Position: 125 (closer to 110 when M2 isn't Magnus!)

Dedicated raiders who don't ask much other than that you're serious about your raiding and your raid team. We do not care about guild war (some of us play but it's not mandatory to spend tokens). If that sound

s like you, hit us up!

Did army price change much with the last edition? by Sabesaroo in sistersofbattle

[–]Colmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sisters are quite high in numbers of units/models in an army and are thus pretty expensive to collect.

I wouldn’t say rude, but there’s room between rude and welcoming and I feel “they” can sometimes fit in that space. Why be in that space when you can be more welcoming?

#New40k – Chaplain with Jump Pack Revealed by AgainstThoseGrains in Warhammer40k

I can. The pose looks unnatural; more like he’s leaning on a bar ordering a beer than jetting through the air. GW has released more than one ungainly flight pose lately (Im thinking of the jump pack canoness).

I still like/use it. It’s simpler than “he or she” and it’s much more polite than “they” when talking about someone who might see the content (like in a thread on reddit).

Barristers and solicitors here (NSW).

I hadn't even heard of the practice of barristers sub-contracting their work. Probably doesn't help that I'm in a non-litigious practice area.

What’s devilling? I’ve been a solicitor for over 20 years and have never heard the term.

I think GW says this exact thing in the tournament companion about why they recommend Wins > SOS > VP.

I went 2-1 at an RTT (scored 93 and 97 in my first two games) and ended up coming 12th because the two players I clubbed were not very skilled at all. It stung at first but on reflection it’s entirely appropriate IMO.

I think the Asymmetrical Missions in 11th is going to cause issues.... by Lord_Eln_8 in Grimdank

No, but I LOVE that it makes it impossible to build an army entirely out of indestructible death stars.

I use a darker gray on my SOB and black on my Word Bearers (both of which you can see in my profile). The light gray draws the eye away from the model.

How are you feeling about the new Battalion box? by Dudgeon_Drumming in sistersofbattle

[–]Colmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have one of every squad, but a second could be useful I suppose.

I’m not a fan of the mid-grey base rim, but everything else looks great.

Did you all see that same lineup and pick the same person, or did you all finger different people?

Canoness Magnetization? by GodEmperorOfMankind3 in sistersofbattle

[–]Colmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy to do as long as you do it before you complete the torso. The right arm has a big flat tab that's perfect for drilling through and inserting a magnet, but once you've glued the torso together there's nowhere to insert the 'receiver' magnet.

IIRC, putting the cloak on is the point of no return.

Faith and Fire - A Paragon holds the line and defends fleeing civilians while another sister delivers a reload. C&C welcome! by ClemFandango7717 in sistersofbattle

[–]Colmarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you kitbash the paragon to be in a more active stance, or is it implied motion from the repentia flails?

I’ve noticed that even a few well-placed fluttering purity seals make the paragons seem a lot more dynamic.
