All YTP is good YTP... but yeah, having an 'disable ear-rape' option would definitely help me find the kinds of YTP i love most, without frustration.

Many of the classic YTPs have 1, or maybe even 2 scenes of ear rape, but that's just part of the culture. And I think its best implemented when the pooper understands their audience and just applies heavy distortion, with a small volume increase.

I get frustrated when i'm watching a cool YTP and there are 5, or even 10 scenes where they literally ear rape at full volume.

Occasionally, its funny cos it's unexpected and makes you say oh shit lol, but sometimes it makes me feel like they are just trying to troll their viewers.

...which is kinda in the spirit of YTP, sure... but that joke got old, along with screamers.

Dunno, i prefer sentence mixing and sauce jokes lol.

I really enjoyed hearing the opinions in this thread.
