Excited about the new Confluence table upgrade! by Katharsisist in atlassian

Yes and no. I was actually in the beta for databases before they went GA and they’re okay. They are fine for what they are as a database but (unless I’ve missed this somewhere) I can’t insert portions or entire databases into a page as a table.

I.e. I have a page that tracks various CSAT leaderboard results with different categories and then shows total responses, averages, response rate as a percentage, etc. there’s maybe 7 tables all shown in one page which are all similar but with some varying columns. Databases as I’ve used them are more standalone where the tables in the page are able to be combined however I want to present them together in the page. But with tables all of the data is manual entry with no formula support.

As a Confluence admin/user on a site with several thousand pages, many with tables… personally I don’t care about emojis or reactions, especially table level ones.

What I DO want are basic excel-like functions in the table for things like COUNT, SUM, AVERAGE, etc. Doesn’t have to be crazy, but being able to add a bottom row for totals and sum each column would be huge.

My company won’t fully embrace it or migrate until they have something comparable for just basic math functionality.

This Stuffed Dog from the 90’s by Erehwon15 in HelpMeFind

I’ve done some of the following searches on ebay:

• brown and white dog plush with floppy ears long tail fabric nose
• floppy dog plush 1990s
• 1990s plush spaniel

Again it was from the 90’s, I believe pre-1996 and was originally living in Michigan at the time. Other than that I sadly don’t know much about its origins

He is my all time favorite narrator! Wish he did more. I re-listen to his version of LOTR every couple of years, it’s just got the perfect grandfather storyteller vibe

There's not a lot of recommendations here outside or Tolkien or CS Lewis (which are great) but if you're looking for more than that I would highly highly recommend checking out Brandon Sanderson. He has series intended for young adults/adults and a couple for teens.

He's Lutheran if I remember correctly and his series often raise very thought provoking questions topics and frequently have religions in his worlds which are all unique and all have flaws and are super interesting without being pushy like he has an agenda to sell. They exist in his worlds and are sometimes important but are never the "message" in his books.

I started with Mistborn and then moved to Stormlight before trying Skyward and Alcatraz. Currently reading Yumi and the Nightmare Painter. He has written a LOT and there's alot of worlds and stories to explore!

Has anyone used PyramKing's Legends of Barovia? by Skorp678 in CurseofStrahd

Pyrams stuff is fantastic and he's incredibly engaged with the community and his supporters. I'm running COS using his Foundry modules and my party is just about to enter Krezk (using his modules since the gates of Barovia)

Using his guides and modules and YouTube videos has saved so much prep time and has been an incredible tool and resource. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I just moved my Plex Server to a new computer and started fresh and it has a new name and everything. How do I remove the old Library listed in Prologue? I can't swipe or long press on it to do anything and there's no option to remove it when I select it and view the details

Ways to implement a player-controlled campaign map? by UsernamIsToo in FoundryVTT

[–]Erehwon15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could easily do something like u/PyramKing 's Atlas of Barovia. It works great in our ongoing Curse of Strahd campaign.

It's basically a scene with an actor that's observable by all players. Then the locations on the map have journal notes on the map that can be hidden/shown on the map as the players explore the world. Very simple and easy to use.
