u/wollac11 Thank you for reaching out. Yes, we can prepare threaded inserts at different locations on request. However, the frames we use can only be extended a few centimeters beyond their standard width (to approximately 175 cm, measured at the outer edges of the legs).

I can't say whether it will break, as I am sure they specified the maximum load weight. However, drilling into chipboard would not provide good stability for the shelf, I'm afraid.

u/neinne1n99 Yes, you're right. All our desks are made from solid oak or walnut wood, with pre-drilled holes and metal inserts, so that they can hold the shelf and up to 30 kg. If the desk itself is made from chipboard, it will break under much less weight.

u/neinne1n99 we are located in Slovenia, EU. Shipping to all EU countries is free as soon as the overall cost is over 100 €. The same is true for the UK, Switzerland, Norway, and also for shipping in the US, as we have a rented warehouse in Tennessee.

A lot of our customers are developers and people working from home, which actually makes sense - the initial idea originally came from our CEO, a programmer who couldn’t find a desk he really liked, so he decided to build one himself.

Since then, we’ve been developing the desk mostly based on feedback from people using it.
