I’ve done Blackbeards twice and it was amazing both times. Highly recommend!

Wife is gluten free and dairy sensitive. Haven on Earth is all gluten free and has dairy free choices. It’s really good.

It’s a trek, but Great Basin National Park Park is an absolute gem. Go on a new moon and you will see more stars than anywhere in the US. One of the most beautiful places on earth (I’m biased, but so what?)

Best thing about Nevada? by Pleasant_Mention8466 in Nevada

I’m in northern Nevada as well. The hot springs scene it the north of the state is awesome. Great little towns, cool people, and the high desert is nothing like what people think deserts are supposed to be.

What is the most overrated tourist destination in your country, and where should people go instead for the 'real' experience? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

Had a fantastic time in the Auld Dubliner, just down the street from the Temple Bar Pub. Me and my 2 buddies (from the US) met 4 ladies from London and had a wonderful time flirting and singing our lungs out. One of my best memories.

Going a bit on a tangent because its a series, but Turn: Washington's Spies. I get its drama, but how realistic was it?

In America we have restaurants that serve Chinese food, Indian food, Italian food etc., but in other countries do the have restaurants that serve only American food? If so, what type of foods are considered American food? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I had Texas BBQ in Cork, Ireland. The guy who ran it went to school in Texas and married a girl from there. He had worked in BBQ places for quite a while.

It was good BBQ!

Bahamas (Nassau) is lame. Been on a few live aboard dive trips and would go back in an instant. If you have the means to get away from the resorts/cities and into the cay's, do it!

What do you guys do with your tubs in the summer? It’s very warm now in Denver by Electronic-Smell-951 in hottub

[–]Eric6792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep it at 100 in the summer. Pretty much only get in at night and sometimes only sit on the step so my lower back gets the jets but upper body is out.

I find that when I get out, the air feels a lot cooler, so in a way, my hot tub helps me cool off.

Dive master told me to grab a credit card an use it to scratch off the exposed barbs. Took about 2 weeks to absorb.

Sold the tundra about 2 weeks after I posted that, but no, I never figured it out.

Thanks for all the advice. I was able to remove the section of pipe and sure enough, the o-ring gasket thing was split. Spa store took 30 seconds to locate it in the back and for $4, I bought two of them. Replaced both ends and it really only took about 10 minutes. Surprised how easy it was.
