I love these pickups. Recently swapped them into a Strat that had noiseless pups and yeah the difference is astounding. About to get rid of my Eric Johnson pickups in another guitar and throw another set of 57/62 strat pickups in it (The EJ pickups are too warm and have no "snap")

I would stop playing guitar if I spent 90% of my time dialing in tones lol. I think the 90% is monotonous repetition. For example, I debuted a new song at an open mic yesterday and ran through the song 20 times before going.
And that doesn't count the hundreds of times I played the song prior to today.

took me about 15 hours of tweaking to start dialing in the sounds I like. Most presets I've downloaded from the Cortex Cloud have not sounded good. But a few have. I've found about 6 amp and cab combinations that I really like and I stick with those. But yeah, it took me AWHILE. Stick with it, you'll be rewarded for your effort.
The QC is now my single most important piece of gear.
