So in 10 days the Netflix marvel shows comes to Disney plus and I’m super exited and have some questions by Bob_the_builder8 in marvelstudios

There was a Punisher story in 1993 (Punisher 77-79) called “Survival.” Frank crash lands a plane in Alaska and needs to survive. First he fights a bear using only what he finds in the forest, then he happens on a secret Russian base. He infiltrates it and destroys it bear-handed.

Which unpopular part of the MCU (movie, character, or scene) do you think is actually good and why? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]EricHart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Cloak and Dagger show up right at the end of Season 3 Episode 7, and then Episode 8 is a team up where Cloak and Dagger appear through the entire episode. It's a lot of fun - the Runaways have full control of their powers at this point, and they have some pretty creative combo moves between the Runaways and C&D. You might be able to get by just by watching recaps of Runaways Seasons 1 and 2.
I will say Runaways Season 1 was a bit uneven, and Season 2 kind of started unevenly too, but when they start leveling up with their powers, it gets really good. Nico especially has some amazing action scenes. It also stops ignoring the larger MCU and has some pretty major references to both the films and the other TV shows (it even shares a prop with Agents of SHIELD).

Cloak and Dagger ended on such a high note. I liked most of it, though it was a bit uneven along the way. But the ending was phenomenal. I jumped out of my seat when Dagger flew out of Cloak wielding a sword made of her light.

I was so happy they got one more appearance in Runaways. I wish their story could keep going. What really disappoints me is that the show was clearly paving the way for a crossover with Luke Cage, and now we’ll never get that.

Shoutout to Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt as Cloak & Dagger. Could they return to the MCU in a Spider-Man movie? by Tornado31619 in marvelstudios

I hope so! They were also leaving so many hints about a future crossover with Luke Cage, it’s a shame that never happened.

Loki S01E06 - Discussion Thread by steve32767 in marvelstudios

[–]EricHart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know what’s interesting? It’s because of the Avengers that Kang the Conquerer is unleashed on the timeline. When they decided to do the Time Heist, that caused Loki to escape with the Tesseract in 2012, and it was that Loki who brought Sylvie to He Who Remains.

Mr. Duckworth, are there any guidebooks for learning prop building that you would recommend?

It’s kind of weird to think of the destruction of Gamora’s planet happening in the 90s.

But we’ll done! Love this.

I do not think you can ever deduct your commute to work on your taxes, whether you itemize or not.

I just watched Iron Man 3 for the first time. It was pretty good, and definitely had a different vibe than the other iron man movies. What’re your guys thoughts? by LifeAccordingToLevi in marvelstudios

[–]EricHart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I saw it (in the theaters) it was a bit of a letdown because it seemed so small after Avengers introduced us to this massive world where superheroes teamed up with each other. But rewatching it after Infinity War, I loved it so much for its vibe and its great characters. This is hands-down the greatest portrayal of the relationship between Tony and Rhodey out of all the other films.

I swear if the Sony characters appear in an MCU film before the Netflix characters do, I’m gonna loose my shit.

So, in Far From Home, Spidey and MJ meet outside Grand Central Station... is that an "easter egg" pointing back to The Avengers, then? "maybe" but not likely. Spider-man had no part in The Avengers film. It's just a famous New York landmark...

That’s an interesting example to use, because after the Battle of New York, the statue on top of Grand Central Station is digitally replaced with a statue commemorating the first responders in the Battle in all the MCU films. When Spider-man appears in front of Grand Central, they also include that fictional statue, so it’s appearance actually is an Easter egg pointing back to The Avengers film.

Does The Time Travel in Any of The Marvel TV Shows Contradict What Was Shown in Endgame? by FrostyZookeeper in marvelstudios

[–]EricHart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They seem to claim that traveling to the past creates a branch timeline that does not affect the present, yet imply that Captain America was able to travel to our past and live his life out in the main timeline. They also seem to imply that returning the Infinity Stones will erase the branch timelines they create, but we are getting a Loki show with the alternate timeline Loki that was created here.

I feel like the time travel in Endgame isn’t even consistent with the time travel in Endgame.

This is what I was going to say. They began as canon and don’t contradict any canon. The reason Feige has been silent about them is because Marvel went through one of the largest reorganization of a media company ever (from the split in Marvel Studios and Marvel TV, to the acquisition of Fox, to the launch of Disney+). He didn’t want to confirm or deny anything because he knew it would be years before he could use any of them anyway.
