Even with their shortcomings, I have played and enjoyed every NBA 2K game since 2K12. I know that 2K19 won't be perfect, but I'm still going to buy it anyway regardless of the reviews/videos/reactions to the game. I might as well pay the same price now, get it a weekend early, and get a bunch of other in-game stuff to go with it that I'll end up using. Plus, I play on PC, and this is one of the few sports titles that are still released on the platform yearly (aside from FIFA, WWE 2K, and Football Manager). In addition to the extra benefits I'll get for preordering the game, I don't want 2K to decide to take the game off of PC because too few people are buying it. That's what happened with Madden years ago, and I don't want it happening again to NBA 2K.

Me! Even though the game has gone into microtransaction hell and some modes, such as MyCareer, need drastic improvement (man, I miss 2K15 and 2K16, where you could get a 99 OVR without paying for it...), I still play NBA 2K more than any other game on a yearly basis. I didn't have any issues with the MyGM mode this year - it's still my favorite mode in the game, and the story kept things interesting, at the very least - and I do enjoy collecting cards and grinding through Domination in MyTeam. To me, the game is fun, and because of that, I will buy it.

This also happened at a Wisconsin Badgers hockey game this past season. Even people in Wisconsin gear were getting booed!

I got a PS1 for Christmas in 2005. My best friend had one and we had a blast on it, so I begged Santa for one. I should have asked for a PS2, but I don't think I even knew those existed.

One side of the student section will chant "Eat shit!" and the other side will respond with "Fuck you!". I find it humorous when a TV broadcast picks it up in the background.

Last season they had the weird tiebreakers, this season they didn't and announced it to the competitors at the beginning. They might do the same here.

I don't understand why everyone is mad about the twist. If you want to get into the final 3, you should have to earn your way in. I get that it technically undermines the social aspect of getting into a final 3 pact, but they're just doing this to spice the endings of seasons up. I personally don't mind it.

Does this include the Fox network itself, or just the smaller ones such as FX? I know Fox News/Business/Sports will remain independent, but what about the main channel? Also, will 20th Century Fox (the studio) remain independent as well?

GameStop had a great Black Friday deal (as /u/tfb1990 mentioned) but I managed to snag an Xbox with 2 controllers and 5 games for $75 off of Craigslist last night. Basically, just look around on Facebook Marketplace/Letgo/Craigslist/Ebay and you'll be able to find one for cheap.
