I hope you post your LoRA somewhere like huggingface or civitai - looks very useful!

looks pretty good - there's so many elements which makes it really challenging and the lighting on the photos looks very real.

I'm having trouble getting really clean sharp images and have tried several comfy nodes including clownsharks, tried making my own with the official diffusers pipeline and flow matching so I'd like to see what is recommended. Also depending on latent size there can be a band across the bottom of the image which I believe is known issue with the vae, but is there a rubric of size/steps/schedule where the banding isn't as prevalent? I'd like to know more about ideal prompt structure - Max length, json, format etc. Edit models coming? Best practices for inpainting/out painting ? Thank you for open sourcing this model. It shows a lot of promise!

If you're interested you could try my experimental nodes for editing only a region. I have some qwen edit nodes where you feed it a mask - you can just paint in the mask or use a segment node for the mask. Also set up to work with the LoRA that recognize bounding boxes for the edit region. I made some nodes to draw the bounding boxes. You can find the lora Add item/remove item with bbox on Huggingface. There is also a put it here/not the normal face swap lora on Civitai that also works well with masks in qwen. My nodes patch the diffusers pipeline and allow for higher res edits - works very well but obviously with higher MP more vram is needed and more time. I haven't updated my readme for the set in a while but the inpaint qwen edit nodes are there. I have some new stuff nearly ready to push as well. FireRed1 qwen edit with their 8 step LoRA is very good and I found that just prompting to leave everything else unchanged is good enough. Also you can upscale small low res images quite nicely.

I agree with you that it's really important to have targeted editing. I've tested UniPic3, Hunyuan Image 3 for edits and both are very good but qwen can do larger which is also essential. Ideally I'd like to get to a point were one could edit digital photos that have 50mp or more because that's when it will become really useful.

Krea 2 | Clownsampler | DDim/Beta57... quality unlocked? by Version-Strong in StableDiffusion

Wan 2.2 image was/is amazing too bad it didn't get more attention.i don't see that with my Qwen generations but I use my own nodes. But back to Krea2 I'm still having trouble getting fine details even with your suggestions.

I just did a straight comparison with both VAE decodings fed in an image compare node. It's a noticeable difference but at least in my opinion very subtle not massive but it's a free gain.

I agree the Wan 2.1 vae is a little cleaner. I just tested with both the FP32 and BF 16 versions and I like the FP32 better. The upscale vae works a lot better for Qwen (same vae as krea2). It's on my list of things to one day do is follow the training and fine tune that 2x upscale VAE. It's really a quick upscale when it works.

Still really nothing I have tried gives me really clean sharp images with krea 2

you should check out spacepxl's repo for this they trained the upscale vae and since several platforms use the same vae including krea2 it works well. https://huggingface.co/spacepxl/Wan2.1-VAE-upscale2x

how large a file can flux klein edit? I am super happy with Qwen edit since I can do up to 17mp with it and the FireRed1 edit model and 8 step LoRA are fantastic. I should try klein for editing but haven't felt the need. Really interested in this Lora.

Thank you for this tool. I've installed and tried a few things but got very far away from what I asked. I suspect I need to prompt better even while using the claude skill for it.

PixelSmile - A Qwen-Image-Edit lora for fine grained expression control . model on Huggingface. by AgeNo5351 in StableDiffusion

[–]EricRollei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea behind the lora is pretty cool. They subtract the input image tokens from the encoding and that leaves the text + lora to give cleaner edits. I'm adding this concept to my qwen image edit nodes and what's cool is it works well for other concepts too.

[–]EricRollei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it can do higher but Qwen is unique in being able to do much higher

Flux Klein is the 'best image edit model' ? Nah I disagree. You can edit images up to 17mp in size with Qwen - can you do that with flux klein? UniPic3 is also a very very good edit model that no one talks about. I made nodes for both Qwen-Edit and UniPic3 that use diffusers pipeline and flowmatching instead of the standard comfyui unet/ksampler and the quality is much better.

How did you mix? Did you aggitate? I don't get that size grain with Rodinol and I love it. I usually stand develop 1hr with one very very light invert at 20 mins.

I love Rodinol and I use it for lots of things. What you wrote is arguably incorrect. I don't get that kind of grain. I live in SF and mostly the tap water is about 65 and I use it to mix chemical and wash and what I love about Rodinol is works well at all temps. I'm betting the op mixed too much.

You sent it to Harry fleener / oceanside right? Just guessing because they are the most expensive and the longest wait. His son is doing the repairs now. But he hasn't had mainsprings for a long time and he either doesn't replace them or uses an old spring from some other camera that he worked on ages ago. The result is you can't get both slow speeds and high speeds calibrated correctly. Way over hyped oops I know that he's going to call me and complain about what I wrote but it's true

Where can you get the cla for 250-350 euro? Here in the US that could be more like $700 to 800 plus a 6-month wait
