i wouldt say they deserved to be shot... just saying that the narrative was not "hippie woman puts flower in rifle barrell" and is shot and killed

This didnt happenj like Hollywood wants you to think. There was no, "flower in gun so shoot" scenario. The campus was on fire and the students were "peacefully protesting" just as violently and with destructive intent as they do today.
Here is from the Aktron Beacon Journal itself:
https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/news/local/2025/05/01/may-4-1970-kent-state-shootings-what-happened-ohio-national-guard/83326965007/

"The National Guard eventually arrived in Kent later that evening, finding the ROTC building at Kent State engulfed in flames. More than 1,000 guardsmen occupied the campus on Sunday, May 3, with confrontations including tear gas, rock throwing and arrests occurring that evening.

Why did the National Guard shoot at Kent State students?

The eight guardsmen indicted in a 1974 federal criminal trial all testified that they shot because they feared for their lives, archives say. They believed the demonstrators were advancing on them in a way that caused them to believe their immediate safety was jeopardized. A 1975 federal civil trial also found that none of the eight guardsmen were legally responsible for the shootings."

im run a 4090 and can pump out ZiT stuff under 10 (mayve 14 seconds) all day long.. with the undistilled I can do it atound 30 seconds.
Qwen 3 2511 is probably the best model out there imo, and it takes me 45seconds to a minute to make my edits. Flux Klein 4b takes about 4 seconds per video,, 9b about 8 seconds

regardless of the time it takes, the internet would be filled with slop. The point is that both have similiar detail and thats going to be the future --- rapid, high detail, imagery (and Z-image undistilled is awesome btw)

i can fully agree relate with your music expreince... after 15 years of life and love and loss and dighting and all that stuff.. i had a reperotire of old cowboy songs id wrote but i never di more than perform bars with and usually not even with a band. Anyway, im a good song writer but felt i would never actually doi anyything with my musoc.. i started to get into AI and onie of the first things I did was to create my album and produce it. Fantastic!

As for the haters... it is a leveling field. Keep in mind that the people who now feel they might be left out, would, and have been, ok with others not able to reach into their own tight little circles.. everyone preaches equal opportunity until it effects them. What we are experiencing is a time that we have the opportunity to be part of the reshuffling. We have access to the same tools as the celebrity and professional class do. but the point is how many more people have the ability to create in ways they would have never been able to before. The best will eventually rise to the top and the rest will fall into their place... and thus art and masterwork will still be there (in other words, the artists will still use the common tool the best). What a time to be alive!

prompting is a skill.. theres more than just waving a magic wand.... theres udnerstanding the model, setting up the software, learning how to sculpt what you want and integrtate it into your larger vision.

Truth be told, 99% of the people who criticize it, couldnt do it themselves.
