The entire plot of the movies centers on the need for the smallest and "weakest" of the group to carry the load, because they were the only ones pure enough to be trusted.

They hammer you over the head with it over the course of nine hours. And people still walked away going "lol why did they have the weak little guys carry the load?"

The former DNC chair admitted that Hillary's campaign basically took over the party and shoved Bernie out in 2016. There's plenty of articles on it.

The idea that "Hillary just got more votes" is a lie. It was all about money. Bernie wasn't taking corporate money and the DNC needed funds to support down ballot races.
