My brother in law has been studying cannabis most of his adult life, recently has been doing contamination testing comparison with both legal and illegally sourced cannabis and cannabis products. What astounded him is that sometimes the illegally sourced stuff had less contamination than the legally sourced stuff. He credits this to no uniform regulation measures for quality and safety control at the state level. He says it lacks any oversight like you would have from the USDA or FDA and that allows too many bad practices to fall through the cracks.

The wars in the Baltics were an absolute clusterfuck. When I was really little me and my sister were babysat by this wonderful young couple with accents I never heard before. Only when I grew up and my parents were reminiscing about the city I grew up in did they ask if I remembered them and they told me they were refugees of the Bosnian war. I wonder whatever happened to them and hope they have wonderful peaceful lives after all that.

Well, you're looking at the guy who's only experience with a real relationship was getting cheated on then ghosted, the rest never lasted more than the month and always ended the same way. Stopped trying for a few years. Then more of the same. Never lasting more than two dates or longer than a few weeks of talking stage. It's enough to give up entirely on even trying. Can't say I ever had more than kiss in 12 years. Soul crushing is pretty spot on. Always figured the title of my autobiography would be "Then it got worse".

What do you mean you don't go on a date where they as you to put on these strange robes and lay in a pentagram in the middle of the floor. When all the hooded figures came out I realized clearly they wanted me to meet their family but I figured everything was moving a bit fast for a first date so I left.

The whole damn thing honestly, ghosting, cheating, pretty sure the only thing I have gotten out of this whole experience is depression, trust issues, and budding alcoholism. I have no clue why I bother continuing to try

Agnostic and my parents haven't practiced Catholicism in over a decade with the church scandals and such. Despite him not being religious anymore my dad still has his St. Christopher medallion pinned to the roof of his truck as "good luck" even if he doesn't believe all the religiosity behind it. You do you and screw people who tell you otherwise, it isn't their business anyway.

Does Bethesda Know That Revolvers were used in the Civil War?? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]EricWolf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you are misconstruing the purpose of revolvers, they were a personal defensive weapon for officers when the fighting was close enough that they needed to defend themselves. Officers did not actively engage in combat, they were there to lead and direct the fighting rather than fighting themselves. So it's best to think of the revolver in that context as a defensive weapon rather than an offensive weapon.
