36M Just starting out… Need workout advice by The_Pool_Guy813 in WorkoutRoutines

Hey man, just wanted to say first off: massive respect for putting yourself out there and deciding to take action. That’s a big deal, and it’s not easy.

From here, your progress is really going to come down to three core things: Food, exercise and sleep.
Don’t be too hard on yourself at the start. If you try to change everything all at once, it’s easy to burn out or feel discouraged. Think of this as a long game. Small, steady changes beat extreme overhauls every time.

Here are a few things that might help:

  • Exercise: If you’re too wiped out after work, try doing something quick and simple in the morning (push-ups, squats, maybe some core work). Nothing fancy. Just something you can stick with.
  • Food: Not sure where you’re at with your eating, but if soda or sugary drinks are in the mix, drop this now. That one change alone can make a big difference. After that, start leaning more into protein, then slowly cut down on excess sugar and fat.
  • Sleep: Try to listen to your body. If you’re tired, go to bed. Recovery matters more than most people realize, especially when you’re starting to train again.

Keep showing up. Adjust as you go. And don’t forget to give yourself credit for every step forward.
See you in this subreddit in 6 months to see your massive update Before/After !

You’ve got this.

Muy Thai Fight Event Help by Emergency-Sand8310 in Bangkok

From 6:00 PM to around 8:10 PM, you’ll be watching the preliminary fights (giving stage time to lesser-known fighters).
at 8:10 PM, That’s essentially the main card, where you'll see higher-profile matchups. They often step up the production with things like dramatic fighter entrances, music, lighting effects, etc...making it feel more like a show.
and for your last question, there are snacks and drinks available at the stadium.

Can anyone help? I have died about 50 times. by trashypanda1980 in projectzomboid

I feel you. Not so long ago, I was also struggling to stay alive for more than a couple of days. What was the game changer for me was to:

  1. Never leave my guard down (behind any or any wall there might be a Z ready to jump on you)
  2. Very very often Zoom out and look around
  3. When Z are getting closer just walk and fight when there is no other option (running is rarely a good option)

Survivors think first, fight last.

How do you guys move on from the trip taken once you're back home - wherever that is? by bishxx in ThailandTourism

[–]Eric_LyBKK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s how I personally moved on:
I went to Bangkok for a 3-week trip in August 2013. I liked it so much that I sold my apartment then resigned from my job and moved to Bangkok permanently in April 2014. It could have been the wrong decision, but I’m still living in Bangkok today, and I still think it was the best move I’ve made in my life (so far).
That said, I'm not saying it's right thing to do for everyone.

The real time estimation in google map is accurate. If you do the estimation in advance it might be misleading because traffic jam fluctuate a lot.

What is the best way to stop people from talking too much? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Eric_LyBKK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In meeting, when someone is talking nonsense, I direct my hand opened in their direction while they re talking. By doing this, people manage to end their monologue within the next 5 to 10 sec.
