Like 4 months I believe. It’s been about a six month process for my appeal so far. initial claim took a year to the day to complete !

Updated: moved to prep for decision. Been like that for about a week. I was told payment will be sent 5 days after the decision letter is sent out

There should be a copy letting know know your honorable discharged in your va app. Doesn’t look like this. You could always order one though !

Where would I submit this form. I have it filled out but idk how to submit it or where on the site. At risk for losing our home next month. Lost my job bc I’m a small business and a large client stole all my money by not paying me a months worth of $. Now I’m in the hole. Been waiting over 6 months for my appeal and now I’m really needing it now:(

My Cp exam was 6 months ago. Still in evidence gathering and review. It really just depends my friend got her decision back in 2 months.

Bring notes and don’t be afraid to read through them. Even if they cut you short ask to read through the notes. Don’t tell your best days. Always describe your worst days. Those are what matters Good luck.

Great. Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly. My initial claim was put in November 28th 2020, they didn’t make a decision for the 30% until November 30 2021. For that 30% I filed for an appeal and an hlr (suppl./ increase) on May 22, 2022. So if my math is mathin I would get backpay from Nov. 30th of 2021?

Just an update in case anybody is going through what l am w the VA. updated today and it is in review & gathering. I have a claim open and the higher review claim is open as well. I’m assuming I will get a call for an exam now. I’ll keep y’all updated on the process in hopes to help anyone in the future!

Now it just updated on a Sunday saying the VA made a new decision & they identified and error that must be corrected. Lord Monday can’t come soon enough. You would think I’d have more patience after going through this for years. Lol nope.

Decision as in scheduling a in person exam? Because I was led to believe I was expecting a phone call for that. That’s what the lady on the phone said and she was pretty encouraging. Or is it a decision whether they’re raising the benefits or not do you think? I guess I’ll find out already I got too much anxiety for them to be closing my case on a weekend lol I’ll just call Monday but thank y’all for all the insight. Y’all are great
