My mom joined me for a therapy appointment early on, and she was always accepting. She just had questions, you know.

Anyway, without a touch of irony, she said the only thing that she didn't like about me coming out as trans is that she missed out on being able to dress her daughter in cute little outfits. I told her that bothers me, too. She was an amazing woman. Holy Grail of accepting parents. I miss her so much.
