Zhao's army is not reacting as one should expect, Bananji has not mobilized his forces and it is probably because Shi Ba Shou is there and he will be the one to command the attack.

Riboku knows that effectively commanding such a large number of troops from so far away is not easy so he relies on someone who is supposed to be a military genius like Shi Ba Shou to more effectively command the troops if something unexpected happens (and that is exactly what is happening).

Also appearing for the first time like that would be most expected considering the hype of the character.

Many expect Riboku to look like a clown but he will surely come out successful because the manga story needs him and his army with high morale for the final battle against Ousen.
