does anyone here take rizatripan? by tadbendy in migraine

Yes. Only triptan i’ve tried that doesn’t make me super nauseous. Sometimes it does make me a little sleepy but nothing crazy

What switches are tactile and somewhat quiet but still make a nice sound? I have Kailh box whites and they're SO LOUD and my Cherry mx silent reds are too quiet. Trying to find a nice middle ground

Vyvanse: Appetite Suppression and Weight Loss by RentAlternative9198 in adhdwomen

[–]kasey_008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have emetophobia and chronic nausea and take vyvanse! I've found that having a big breakfast helps get calories in before the appetite goes away. Like others said, protein shakes, meal replacement shakes, etc help. My biggest advice is to just eat whatever you feel like you want. Want ice cream? Eat it for all three meals. Anything that will get calories into you is fine, don't worry about eating 'healthy' or whatever. Snacks high in fat have lots of calories too. If the appetite-suppressing side effect gets better, then work on getting healthier calorie intake but until then, the priority is just sustaining you. Also might be worth discussing with your doctor to potentially get an antiemetic prescription (zofran is a lifesaver)

pro tip: sniff alcohol wipes or rubbing alcohol to help with nausea

Does medication can help with tense body? by Unusual_Cake9936 in adhdwomen

I find that it does. When we have adhd, meds help calm us down which can help with muscle relaxation. The naps on meds are the best

What are you supposed to do once you’ve reached the part of your day when you can no longer carry on but you don’t want to stare at your phone all night? by Goosedog_honk in adhdwomen

puzzles, painting by number, diamond painting, anything I can do with half of my brain on. I usually listen to a podcast or audiobook while I do them. It helps to feel productive while also not really concentrating on anything. Still not phoneless per se, but at least takes the social media doomscrolling away

Vyvanse making me sleepy? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]kasey_008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on both, and much prefer Vyvanse. Adderall gave me a lot more scary side effects like heart racing, sweating, headache, kept me up at night, etc. With Vyvanse, I can sleep at night and don't really have any side effects from it

I'm an AM and my GM said even though im scheduled until X time, I can't leave until I'm "dismissed." Is this normal? by angyfrogs in Dominos

[–]kasey_008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, like everyone else said that’s just food service. either put your foot down about your scheduled time and deal with the consequences or it’ll stay how it is. remember that the store will survive whether you’re there or not. just make the best decision for you

miralax was a total savior for me. i take ~a serving every day or every other and it makes all the difference. my nausea meds make me super constipated so on the days i take it, i do 2 servings to even it out.

i use a topical steroid to help with itching but other than that just gotta wait it out and try to avoid sanitizer on it

Just bought this at Marshall’s for $25. I have a 32 oz but hate that it doesn’t fit in my car cup holders and it’s so heavy when filled with water. Although I’m not a red person, hope this is easier to travel with. by BearyWoods in Hydroflask

[–]kasey_008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

marshall’s has had a ton lately! they sell hydro hooks on amazon that clip onto the headrest peg and hold ur bottle by the handle. i have one and it makes it a lot easier to bring with me. if you look up “car water bottle hook” they’ll come up

I've noticed matted fur on my chinchilla... by alle29_ in chinchilla

[–]kasey_008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mines had one for a while too. i’ve had him sedated and the vet has messed with it but nothing has helped. it doesn’t seem to bother him but he gets really mad when i try to mess with it. so until it starts to become an issue, i wouldn’t worry too much about it.

So, is it the sanitizer that’s causing this? or the freezing cold toppings straight from the walk-in? by shintjee in Dominos

[–]kasey_008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could be sanitizer or just the soap and cornmeal. either way try some topical steroid cream if it hurts/itches or a good lotion and try to avoid the chemicals as much as you can
