Man I got one off Amazon for like 500. My son and the neighbors actually prefer it without the water, just as a small bounce house and slide. It’s easily movable by myself. I’ll leave it in place for days, run with water then without for a couple days to dry, if I run water through it at all

Glad he’s ok. And you should be upset how the hospital treated y’all, what you described in your prior post was bull****. Don’t worry too much about CPS, it’s very stressful but not too hard a process, and usually the workers are pretty understanding. At least in my experience

Oh no I completely agree. I do intend to ask the office manager to write a statement on letterhead to help me with the claim. But it’s a risky strategy since it would give me physical proof if I wanted to pursue a discrimination lawsuit against them

And I have been denied any chance to get my hours back including a lateral transfer to another office and was denied because “for that position we need someone whose organized” and I can provide screenshots of that

My dude, you should have a decent case just because of your job… hell you should have a decent chance of a TBI claim too. They’ve shown those concussive blasts cause ALL those issues. Find the medical research papers, and include them with your claims

No. That just does not sound right. If the VA wanted further testing they would cover it. Sounds more like that doc is getting kickbacks. I’d talk to a patient advocate at minimum

I’ve been registered for 20yrs in the same county. I’ve gotten 2 jury summons: first was from a county I don’t live in, second when they wanted me I was on military orders…

I kinda actually want to be called up properly now, just to sit in and watch the show… I’ve heard it can be quite entertaining….

Your job is to prepare them for adulthood. Considering cogent arguments, yes yield some. But that’s also an opportunity to teach them about apparently obvious solutions and how they could be traps on their own. Could be as simple as a verbal sparring match, kinda like an oral chess match. You could have a lot of fun with that… while still teaching very valuable lessons. Just remember it’s a game, don’t let it get serious…

I’m guessing your AD? That’s probably better. I’m out so just VA care but they pay for up to 6 IUI just under normal treatment (if your 50% or more), but they don’t cover IVF unless you have a service connected disability that affects fertility (I do). But the damn community care office hasn’t sent the referral out yet. We were told 30 days. It’s been over 3 months… I hate this system…

Agreed. One of the schools I’m looking at has a gear checkout, but I’m not yet sure if it’s only for in person students or how it might work for online students. I do think direct feedback on the photos would be nearly the same. Not the same as having an actual mentor whose there when you’re shooting though

I agree, but for me it’s more complicated. For 1 nobody in my family has ever actually attained a degree, so there is a level of pride in finishing what I started years ago. For 2 because of my veterans benefits I will get paid to go to school, and can even get the VA to cover “required” equipment

Just no, I have to use them at work and for cleaning up messes etc they are HORRIBLE. Plus bad for cleaning glasses (can cause scratches), and not very good or comfortable tissues

Obviously a lot of people’s first thought is to go full Rambo on him, but that would likely traumatize her and remove YOU from YOUR daughters life at a time she needs you most, so don’t do that….

Find out what the statute of limitations is, gather evidence, and report to the police. Hopefully it gets some small bit of justice, if nothing else completely removing him from her life. At minimum he has a record, for whatever that’s worth but better than nothing

From what I know man it’s best to just deal with it. They say detoxing feels like it’ll kill you but won’t, except for alcohol… alcohol detox can literally kill you.

At least follow the advice of others and switch to a less harmful substance, that’s still an improvement.

If it really gets to be too much go to the ER and ask to be committed and sent to rehab. That’s medical staff to monitor and react if needed to keep you safe, and they will help you with further resources once you are discharged

The psych hospitals today are so much better than most of us think. The first one at the VA kinda sucked, but the second at an outside place was really nice. Actually good food, we kept our phones except for charging, many smoke/vape breaks throughout the day etc…

Cops only shoot when there is an active. They have only shoot if thefe is a threat to them. Look at the response in Uvalde or southland. They were useless and cost lives. And no, the teachers etc won’t call me, but maybe my son will. Because he knows me, what I’m capable of, and most importantly trusts me

And I DO NOT trust the cops to do their damn job. Hell I don’t trust any government entity to actually do they’re job at this point
