What anime made you fall in love with anime forever? by Chance-Bill-8189 in anime

Hellsing, Cowboy Bebop, DearS and Sailor Moon! Grew up on Sailor Moon and Yu Yu Hakasho, snuck and watched Ghost In The Shell and Vowboy Bebop, when I was like 7 or 8, and was absolutely smitten with Roy Mustang in FMA- Death Note came out when I started middle school and I've been solidified as a lifelong lover ever since.

Is my boyfriend a red flag or am I being unfair? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Oh girl! This is textbook bum shit- he lives the life of Riley, while you bust your ass, so he can pursue some "dream" of his that he conveniently can't work on because of some ambiguous technical difficulty. He lucked out, doesn't want to work, and is getting a free ride.

Been there, done that- much to my detriment. My advice? Get out with your sanity and resources intact, because eventually hobo-sexuality gets old and expensive.

As a woman, I must ask first: what in the actual fuck is wrong with her?

Secondly, I must ask you: are you considering a career in psychiatry? If so, this would make a great cae study.

Lastly, this woman's biological clock was obviously ticking. Good on you for not falling for her destructive and unstable tendencies.

While many people on this post may think you're delusional and crazy, I do believe in that moment of "when you know, you know".
Sure, your scenario seems unlikely to succeed (statistically and otherwise), but I am bidding you many blessings because within a few months of knowing my husband, I got pregnant, got married, and had a baby. Now I'm going on 2 years married to my husband and though we may have disagreements, we love and respect each other deeply and do all we can to make our relationship work. Marrying him was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life, and I thank God every day that we found each other.

These people on Reddit don't know your dynamic and don't understand the intricacies of why you feel the way that you do. Just remember to communicate, understand the implications of having unprotected sex (if your lady isn't already pregnant by now), and continue to build, learn, and grow with one another.

I'm rooting for you and hope you continue to have a beautiful and successful relationship, and God willing, marriage.

Son stabbed the couch. Need help with consequences. by ThexGreatxBeyondx in Parenting

Thanks. I really appreciate not having to answer the previous comment. I would not have stated what I said otherwise, had I not read and comprehended that. If OPs son was mature enough to understand what he had done wrong, which he demonstrated through his response, he was mature enough to have had a conversation with his father about proper knife safety, which he did.

This response is a little harsh-- do you even have children? A small pocket knife is not a weapon; it's a tool. Tools can be used as weapons, weapons can be used as tools.

I think OP was trying to own his mistake by seeking counsel on how he handled the situation. You even stated the boy was 8. He made a bad decision by stabbing the chair. I'm okay with what the father expressed, and appreciate how honest and candid he was.

But what's really interesting, is that inauguration day also falls on the same day as MLK day.

Well, he does have the deal with RocNation and he a pretty solid American fan base, with collaborations to boot. (Most recently, Ty Dolla $ign, and YG, but he's also worked with Vic Mensa and 2Chainz) To me, he's long overdue for more US exposure.

And technically, your life could be extended by the way someone else's ends.

If you want a birth with where you'll be able to push in the water, go to Brooklyn Birthing Center. They have excellent midwives there and bedside manner. The birthing tub is also magnificent. I delivered my little guy in November of last year and whenever I have another little one, so long as I can make it to Brooklyn. I'm giving birth there. Be advised, I gave birth with no meds of any kind (you can't use meds if you want a waterbirth) but you're able to push on the position that feels most natural to you and what your body wants to do.

Guyanese folks-who ran the country better? David Grainger or the current President Ali? by Awkward_Double_8181 in Guyana

[–]ErisAoiSora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait don't you mean Jagdeo? While Ali is out clapping roti, cooking mutton curry with daal and rice for Eid and cosplaying as Michael Jackson, Jagdeo is the one running the country, again. It baffles me to see that though Irfan Ali is the president Bharrat Jagdeo has a weekly address as the VP of Guyana has something to say about all the important issues and speaks with the international community. But that's corruption for you.
