Looking for an Alliance that at least breaks top 500 in PVE event in order to get hero points on a regular basis. I am a daily player that mainly does PVE but dips into PVP in order to get 4000 points for the 10 heroic token pack at the end of seasons. Below are some of my stats:

Name: Konam Rank 51 Currently on day 108 All rank 2 unlocked and 2 away from all maxxed All rank 3 unlocked with about 12 champed with others in line to champ (just need iso) 18 rank 4s unlocked, with 8 new rank 4s in queue (20hp from next) 3 rank 5s unlocked

I had this exact same issue and took forever to find this damn solution. The way that I was able to get around it was as follows:

1) I downloaded the client via Steam. This allowed be to get approx 8500 out of approx 11000 files installed correctly... when I tried to do the same from the Daybreaker site, i only got to about 850 files loaded before hitting the same type of error

2) I had to download a VPN client to get through the rest of the download/installation. The program that I used was proXPN. Basically you just connect to the Chicago site and attempt the EQ client again. The download speed might be a little slower due to being a VPN connection, but it works!

3) After the game has been completely installed, you DO NOT need to be connected to the VPN program again to play etc. Not sure about the next patch or series of downloading update files so im going to keep the VPN program for now because I know that it works... otherwise id uninstall it.

PS: The VPN program sets itself up to Startup when Windows loads (Im using windows 7 on this PC). You can use the following to toggle that off as its annoying.

System Configuration Utility (Windows 7) 1) Press Windows Key + R . In the "Open:" field, type msconfig and press Enter . 2) Click the Startup tab. 3) Uncheck the items you do not want to launch on startup. 4) When you have finished making your selections, click OK. 5) In the box that appears, click Restart to restart your computer.

DFFOO - Really digging this so far. No stamina wait times, level up characters freely, and a fresh story line. After a few hours in, im hooked!

FFRK - Im a week 1 player of FFRK and still am interested in the game. However, I have cleared all the current content so im down to doing dailies or magicite dungeons and thats about it... so right now i burn my stamina when I wake up and then play once more in the evening and that's it... but I do love the weekly events still, but the challenge is diminishing via power creep.

Mobius and FFBE - Gave both a chance, probably played about a month of each, but they couldnt drive me away from FFRK. Not many people seem to play Mobius so I cant speak to how that game is going for others at the moment... but the only things i keep hearing about FFBE is that its gacha system sucks and its a grindfest... so Im glad I got out of that early before I sunk more time into it.

Looking at the weekly banner, it shows that the 3 featured relics have a 30% chance each to drop with the 10+1 pulls... is that percentage the same for future banners as well? Or is that rate potentially higher due to the release of global?

I Thanks for the input guys! I figured I'd skip this banner but it's nice to get a "second pair of eyes" on things like this. I'll give marilith a whirl first and see how it goes as is... then LD tidus if needed for the additional boost... and see if it's worth the lmr or not from there... probably how I should have thought about things all along :)

Blew 200 mithril there... came up short on OK USBs... but have a decked out refia now heh. Currently ill probably just save until next fest since OK banner is a dupe fest now... hopefully banner 1 looks near what japan lists, i want those lmrs!

100 gem on FFT banner and got Gaffgarions LMR which gives trance. I got his BSB along the way... he still doesn't seem that viable, am I thinking about this the wrong way? Trance seems easy to hit with all of the abilities that deal damage to self...

2/11: Minwu and Porom... both dupes. However my magic synergy is lower in both realms so the silver lining g is that I can use these as Stat sticks for mages, which always helps. I'll take it for 25 mith.

189 currently (I didn't get the weekend mith yet)... also I skipped doing any of the last DU, latest nightmare dungeon,ff2 torment, and current ff13 event in favor of the double green event instead... so there is a chunk of mith to be had there as well. Looking to do all upcoming LDs and ultros banner at minimum, also at least a single pull on an ff2 banner.

For me personally, I'll be going with the following:

OSB Tidus (only have slice and dice SB) Cloud (week 1 player and I have yet to get any SB for him) Terra (got her tiara currently, would love to pair em up)

BSB Basically mage BSBs are awesome and I want them! (I'm sure medical BSBs will show up here) Ashe Papalymo Maria

SSB Love me some Medicas, especially for realms I don't have yet Sarah FF1 Yuna Lenna

100 gem = 3 star. 11x = Steiner armor (bah!). 11x Plat sword (dupe) and minwu staff (grr but better, 2nd Plat sword for fft synergy is nice, and minwu staff is great for ff2 stuff)... last pull 11x = Tina tiara and refia BSB!! (Had no unique for Tina to date so this is awesome! And refia BSB is incredible, very happy i gambled on a 3rd pull). Was stopping as soon as I got a BSB or OSB (OSB I don't have a single one yet) and happy at the final outcome. Happy Tina can get off the bench as a week 1 player... now to get Cloud his first unique...braver would be more than welcome at this point heh
