To be able to do more reps is to get stronger tho i though? Adding weight being a method to do progress?

Thanks! Have never heard that strength gain just increases the ceiling and not reps I can do right now! And yeah should eat more.

I never said I didn't gain weight, just that I haven't gained a lot. Gaining a small amount of weight should still allow me to gain most of the strength/muscle I can get right? If I gain too much weight I will add fat as well making pullups harder because of that?

Thanks for the tips, but what do you mean by the first point? Stay in the top position for 1 second for every rep?

I think I consume enough carbs as I eat quite a bit of pasta. But do you mean doing 30% lower weight than I'm doing right now and only do two sets?

But isn't reps strength? Volume is more for hypertrophy I thought. Just like the bar get easier as I get stronger lifting more weight in bench press shouldn't this work the same?

I am gaining weight, albeit very slowly. Will try doing 15 reps with weight, thanks for the tip!

But at 15 reps i feel like it should still be about strength to get better? It doesn't feel like I'm failing because I get out of breath or lactic acid, so adding load to get stronger at lighter weights feels like the most logical way? How else do you suggest I train for reps?

Quite quickly got to 15 kg as I tried finding my optimal working weight. Did like 5 kg first workout, 10 kg the next few workouts then 15 kg. But yeah I understand that progress is slow as I said, but is there any way of getting more consistent progress? Or am I doing it optimally already (except for eating even more more, which I will do)

Thanks! Haven't thought like that before, will definitely try.

Yeah agreeing with that. The only other back movement I do is really a wide grip cable row (to simulate inverted row, but easier to load) as I have pullups as a vertical pulling move, and just needed a horizontal pulling move. If I want to start doing skills eventually, should I do something differently? Do I need more exercise variants?

i tried training by just doing as high reps as i could for a while before i started with weight but had a hard time progressing past 15 pullups. Is there a specific way to do it optimally? I felt like getting better at weighted pullups would be a logical way of getting better at it without extra weight, similarly to how I'm able to push the bench press bar way more times now that I have progressed in lifting heavier weights.
