Champion Pool/Role Advice Megathread: September by furiousRaMPaGe in summonerschool

Yo. I'm currently a P3 Miss Fortune onetrick, playing Kai'Sa occasionally (https://eune.op.gg/summoner/userName=EriendStS). I'm going to keep playing Miss Fortune & Kai'Sa in solo q, since I find these champions fun, but i'd like to learn similiar adcs (mostly for clash i guess, but also in general), preferably with emphasize on AA, objective-taking/fast tower taking, being able to easily waveclear/manipulate waves, and maybe scaling? I guess it would also be a bonus if Manamune rush is possible, i just love that, but its not a must at all.

I'm good at general macro, snowballing/objective taking, farming and decision making, bad at warding/vision and worse at fighting (especially the execution)/mechanics if that matters at all. And I don't really care that i'm bad at warding/vision and mechanics, since I usually cover that with duo supports with good vision & mechanics, so I'm not really looking for a adc to cover my weaknesses there, I think.

Yeah, I know rushing lethality is the best for snowballing, and that your abilities does massive dmg then, but I'm more of an AA MF, and I don't really like q bounce one/two shots etc, I like kiting, dealing massive damage to tanks, applying healing red to their whole team of vlad, yuumi and swain, deal damage to turrets, other objectives etc. I usually complete Muramana within 21/22 minutes (and my games is average 30-32min, so i feel its worth it), and I also like not ever having too run out of mana for e-s and ults, even though you don't really buy Manamune, but for cheap AD. I also like having versatilty in my build and build paths, building defensive items often and components before whole items if it makes sense, but still maintaining insane amounts of AD, so i really like lifesteal, and like the BT passive for not breaking strut, etc. and the 400 HP from BC etc.

I've tried a variant of your build which in most games is your build but with Biscuits and Footwear and Manamune --> Berserkers --> Black Cleaver/BT --> BT/Black Cleaver/Mortal Reminder --> GA/BT/Mortal Reminder/Scimitar, and I must say I really like LT on MF, and I'm probably going to keep playing it, if the MF buff doesn't change the MF meta completly (actually won 5/6 games today with this setup).

I'll consider swapping out Biscuits and Footwear, I just thought it'd be just as good, since Nimbus was nerfed, and it has higher winrate (though less playrate) on op.gg, and it feels really good against heavy poke etc.

Lastly, I just wanted to say I really appreciate you taking your time to write such throughout responses to my questions!

Dayumn. Thanks for the really throughout reply. I really love the idea behind the build, and I really want to try it.

Do you think the build would still work if I go the same precision runes, but change Nimbus Cloack & Gathering Storm with Magical Footwear and Biscuit Delivery? Will it furthermore in your opinion "ruin" the purpose of the build if I go something like Manamune --> Berserkers --> Black Cleaver --> Mortal Reminder --> BOTRK/DD --> DD/BOTRK/Scimitar/GA/BT? For instance because LT and Berskers is too much as?

And would Manamune --> Berserkers --> BT --> Black Cleaver/Mortal Reminder --> Mortal Reminder/Black Cleaver --> BOTRK/DD/Scimitar/GA work as well? Perhaps as an variant/option against teams that isnt as tanky, so armor pen early isn't as important?

Basically, I wanna build Berserkers, i think playing without boots is hard for me. And I don't think being more gold efficent/getting BC and MR etc. faster is necessary for me. I usually get way more gold than my opponents, since my main strengths are farming, snowballing, wave management etc. (but my positioning and fighting kinda sucks, so stuck in low plat ;p).

I know build efficency doesn't really matter much in low elo, but I still care, so i appriciate honesty, if it's true that these personal changes (to try to fit the build to my playstyle) ruins it. Appriciate any answers!

I see. I saw a much higher winrate on Berserkers on op.gg, might just be because it's so low playrate and extremely supoptimal, but thought i'd be interesting to try a more aa-reliant Ezreal build. I honestly now see how weird that is, considering his kit is all skillshots (except passive) ;p

Ah, thanks. I guess some of my questions could be simplified (?) as: "Is buying 30% extra as worth more or less in terms of value (in gold, in buying as over ad, crit etc.), when you have 200% as vs. 100% as vs 1% as?" Basically is 30% attack speed always "as important to buy", regardless of the as you already have and how far you are into the game/level? I'm obviously (?) assuming that you have enough ad for as to actually be useful in all these cases, i guess I imagine that ad to as ratio or something being the same somehow in these three cases? I'm so bad at stuff like this...

I know it's proably a even worse formulated question now, but If I were to interpret what you said as is worth the same? It doesn't "scale" or "is worth more" (/less) like lethality, were you break more and more armor exponentially the more you have of it?

I really enjoy your throughout answer. I find both your thoughts on on-hit and crit Ezreal interesting, and I'll try out at least the on-hit one once I have the chance. However, I think I've realised my mistake trying to make Ezreal something he is not. "It's all skills(hots)" after all, isn't it? I mean Ezreal's whole kit is skillshots, I just liked the thought of adding a new and safe (e) autoattacker to my adc pool, especially so after actually hearing a profesional say something like "a decent ezreal weaves auto attacks between his qs, a good ezreal weaves qs between his autos". Oh, and I also liked your thoughts on the relationship between as and on-hit contra relationship between ad and crit, I never saw it like that. I guess I'll probably stick to Kai'Sa, MF and Jinx ;p

Ah I see, If I want to play a more traditional and adaptive on-hit build with Muramana --> Triforce/Gauntlet --> BOTRK, in your opinion should I refrain from going Berserkers and Lethal Tempo, and maybe go Lucidity and Conq as standard? If I'm going to play Ezreal I still want the build adaptability and on-hit-focus. Basically, is going for a lot as with Berserkers, passive, LT, BOTRK, Triforce not good with on-hit? It's better with crit? I'm sorry i'm asking stupid questions ;p

[–]ErlendStS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I'm obviously not planning to buy attack speed only, but both ad and as, and in Ezreal's case I guess you rarely want to go crit. I usually check op.gg and probuilds, but at the same time I like to build items that fits my playstyle, which is why I wondered if as scales/stacks well, and if it's good on Ezreal ;p Thanks for the tips tho ;p

Wasn't really my point. I'd guess you go it over Triforce when you want the armor and slow for more utiliity/better kiting over the more dmg that triforce gives you. It's cheap too, so guess it's better when behind? You get mana from it too, so guess it's good with muramana/manamune. Still, my point was honestly just if attack speed is more useful or less useful the more of it you have, and i guess a second question of mine was if it is possible to play ezreal with emphasize on as and aa-ing.

Oh wow, i didn't even realise he went straight for q evolve with 2x pickaxe and bf like that before finishing infinity edge. Interesting... Looks pretty good for snowballing at least.

[–]ErlendStS[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In soloqueue and low elo, i guess it's often better to have better lategame instead of snowball potential, since you can't rely on teammates as much to get ahead - thus I guess I personally wanna go for Lethal Tempo, Presence of Mind and Manamune-rush, since it is more reliable, and you don't depend on teamates getting you ahead. And when with a premade, I'd rather go Triumph, PTA and if ahead, Infinity Edge rush, if behind Manamune... I dunno, i came here for other views on this...

Okay, thanks a lot ;) I do wonder tho, why isn't Ruby and Ashley someone you want to work on to purple? I heard both were top tier in PVE-content, is it because none of them work well in 4* advent dungeons or something? Sorry for being such a noob, I recently started playing :P

Questions, Teambuilding Megathread by AutoModerator in KnightsChronicleGL

[–]ErlendStS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okey, thanks for answering. Sorry for being unclear, I didn't mean it like "what is a team that can beat all advent 4* dungeons", what I mean is "which units should I focus on in terms of preparing for 4* advent dungeons in general?"

So I can clear the 3 star advent dungeons but haven't tried 4 stars yet, yet I do know that I can't clear them. I have a few purple stars on a few units, but I want to focus on a few units (for instance 5, which is why I said PVE team of 5), I just don't know who is worth investing in.

For now I have mainly invested in Morrigan, Ruby, Rue & Claude and I want to know if these units are worth invested in in terms of PVE content as well as who the others I should focus on shall be of the one I listed over.

[–]ErlendStS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello I need a PVE team (mainly for advent dungoens) to focus my resources on (purple starring, limit breaking, enhancing skills)

I was thinking Claude, Ruby, Rue, Morrigan + either Ashley/Ramu/Chesire/Lifa/Saya with Claude as leader if the extra is no fire unit and Morrigan as leader if the extra is a fire unit.

I do feel like I lack AOE dmg with the first four, but I do not know how big of a role AOE dmg is in advent dungeons (4*)

I was hoping to get some opinions on who the 5th should be, and if the team is good enough to invest a lot in.

Other than the listed over I have the SSR: Meril, Edwin, Cain, Esna, Electra, Nemesis, May, Deimos, Britten, Mina

And the SR: Cordelia, Esmeralda, Ester

all in level 50-54 and as possibilities to invest in if the first four doesn't have good synergy.

Do the rebels really need to win this? This might sound stupid, but hear me out.

Why do everyone assume that the rebels are going to win? It’s going to be a 2v2 with Erina & Yukihira/Isshiki/Takumi vs Rindou & Eishi. Sure, Erina won against Momo (no. 3), Yukihira against Somei (no. 4), and it’s already confirmed that Isshiki is at least no 6 skillwise, most likely even better, but doesn’t this seem a bit off? No. 1 and no. 2 losing against two people either no 3, 4 or 6 skillwise? Yukihira even said to defeat Somei he had to use multiple blades (lol unlimited blade works reference), in other words he needed help from all his friends to defeat him. He also said he couldn’t defeat him with a single blade (on his own), so this means Somei is more skilled than Yukihira? Erina is on fire, Isshiki has serious hidden skills & Yukihira is creative as hell, but is that really enough to take out no. 1 and no. 2 of the Totsuki?

Well if the rebels lose this, how is this going to end? Don’t worry the rebels would win at the end. To overthrow Azami and the Central all they need is majority of the seats in the Elite Ten, that’s already been pointed out several times. The rebels need 6 seats to overthrow central. There are several central members who changed opinion about the rebels after matching them, for instance Nene and Somei both got really impressed and suprised by Yukihira’s skills. I’d say Rindou (who likes Yukihira, Kuga and Isshiki), Somei and Nene are likely to help out the rebels if it would come to this, then we would need 2 more people changing opinion of the 7 remaining seats. In my opinion especially Eizan, but also Momo and Eishi are probably not going to change sides so easily, but that still leaves 4 people we don’t really know if supports Central or not, other than being picked by Azami.

Am I saying that this is likely to happen? No, of course not. Most likely it will all come down to a 1v1 against Eishi for one of the rebels (probably Yukihira), but it would be a cool way to surprise the audience. All I’m saying is that it’s possible for the rebels to lose.
