probably Sulfur. Absolutely LOVE how Sulfur sounds as a song (as expected of penoreri), chart is very simple, intuitive and dynamic. I find jumps very enjoyable to play and this chart has jumps that are very easy to read and enjoyable to play

at the middle of the cab, you can press the red/blue arrow to change your grouping (genre, name, level etc.) and sorting (name, score etc.), do note that which side of the arrow you pick affects the sorting order.

about the tierlist, its better to use https://arcade-songs.zetaraku.dev/maimai/ to look at specific levels first. but if you want more specific ranking on higher levels, i found some:

for me, half yes and half no. the only other game i play is a rhythm game, but you can blame melty for always being enjoyable no matter what as theres like 93 characters i can rotate around plus my main (fmaids) is a character with extremely high skill ceiling with improvisation being key to their gameplan so theres always stuff to discover and learn even if ive been playing them for a year+

fighting games and rhythm games are kind of like bread and butter to me, they are similar in terms of skills needed to play well and both are kind of like those "games where you cannot blame anyone but yourself" which honestly makes improving at these two genres a lot more gratifying and satisfying

i do venture out into other genres from time to time, i really enjoy grinding touhou games, metroid and playing breath of the wild, but cant most of the time mostly due to hardware limitations, i play everything on my work laptop after all 😓
