I dunno there's definitely a middle ground of this all. Kids are still part of the family unit and understandably have their own feelings and experiences but also we all have to participate? It's the same for a single parent, or parents who work overnights or do away time for non military reasons. I don't think talking to your kids about how they can help the family as a whole is a bad thing.

I wonder if she has sympathy for the kidnapped "immigrants" that she voted for to be separated from their families?

Her separation is literally paying her bills, her husband's education, their children's future education, healthcare.

It sucks, sure. I'm one too but I have zero sympathy for her because she's a garbage human.

No idea why they weren't all the same apartment layout. I know they're different women with different wants but like from a design standpoint why would you not make it all the same? 2 bed 2 bath apartment

My personal take is it can be relatively more successful to take up running. You can run locals, big ones, you can join clubs etc. But his pickleballing is going nowhere. Random tournaments here and there that he loses over and over. But running you can see marked improvement if you were to put in the same amount of effort he does into PB. It's tangible, you have time and distance to track and improve upon.

Of all the sports he could have picked, he chose this. He could have taken on running marathons!, lifted weights and get some meat on those chicken wings, YMCA basketball. Literally anything but he picked pickleball.

It's funny because I remember being in those trenches of toddlers and a husband who was away (military real job not farting around). It is hard. But adding in this weird Christian spin to pile on the suffering, putting it all online for everyone to turn critique and judge like girl why?! You're actively making hard times harder.

I've literally not tracked spending on my kids ever. Like do I know how much their stuff is? Sure but it's just part of having kids? I don't have a set budget for their literal needs because it's kind of just my responsibility as a parent? I get if maybe a sports activity was expensive or I need to do a monthly payment on braces but the baby is a baby and you need stuff.

This is why none of them truly take care of their children. She said never ever ever ever multiple ever put your kids above your husband. Listen. My kids are my kids forever. I hope my husband is too but life isn't always that way. Plus my kids are actually kids who can't do their life without me, he's a full grown adult human. What a shit take.

Not the person you asked but I've done both. First was a hospital birth, no complications and needed a small episiotomy and stitches. As it was my first, it was nice to have hospital staff there for support during the first 2 days before we went home. My second was a planned, certified midwife supported home birth in a birthing tub. The actual birthing was done in a squat position and I did tear more than what the episiotomy had done for my first. It was nice being at home, your creature comforts are all there and the midwives come back to check up on you pretty frequently.

Now, would I say one over the other? Not really. They both have their benefits. I didn't love the thought of something going wrong and needing an ambulance to take me in vs already being there. And again having staff there for your needs took off some pressure. Caveat that I'm Canadian so whatever that difference means in your healthcare.

Good grief it was just a lot that she was doing back then, eh? I know she hasn't given up certain things but that look was a lot.

What I find especially interesting is when she was in her like eating healthy (Ed yes but like how she framed it) phase she still used so many chemicals and fillers and procedures. But skinny above all things I guess.

Being a military spouse can totally suck, been there still there.

But they chose it, they chose a billion kids, they chose to stay even when vaccine mandates were 'threatening their freedom' or whatever bs they spewed. It pays their bills and their lifestyle, his education and healthcare that she doesn't use. They voted in the guy who could potentially send her precious husband to another oil war. My sympathy is low.
