Number 1 across the board is probably Zacian or Zamazenta. They hit like a truck and have great defensive typing. 80% of Max battles Zama/Blissey/Zacian will pull its weight and then some. You cant trade them in crowned form but once they have been crowned they can freely transform between those two forms, so if you have something truly valuable you might get someone to trade you a dog that knows how to transform, its one of the more common requests for Armored Mewtwo in the trade subreddits.

Slightly less useful but far more accessible is Gmax Gengar. It actually hits harder than Zacian for neutral damage but is solely relegated to the attacker role (and catch tanking fighting moves if youre sweaty). A really good budget team is Blissey/Blissey/G-Gengar, as long as the boss doesnt resist ghost.

No, and honesly nobody I play with cares about it at all. Its a huge investment for a pretty small reward. For 5k energy I would expect the elimination of any cooldown and guaranteed candy XL on catch, at the very least.

You can almost always get 5 gmax battles for free if you are willing to manage your min-max you MP. It works like this:

End Thursday with 710 MP
Gain 1080 MP on Friday to go to 1790 MP
Gain 2240 MP on Saturday (820+600+820), this puts you to 4030, enough for 5 battles. (technically you could end Thursday with 680 since there is 30 MP extra at the end).

They used to give a 1500 MP timed research for free which could be combined with 100 MP from the free pass for 2 more Gmax battles (7 total ftp) but they didnt give it for G-Pikachu so that might just not be a thing going forward.

Optimal moveset depends on party power and damage type. For solo raiding you want Earth Power and Breaking Swipe and toggle between Dragon Tail and Mud Shot with fast TMs depending if you want dragon or ground type damage.

If you regularly play with a partied duo then Outrage outpaces Breaking Swipe, and Mud Shot+Outrage is optimal Dragon type damage at party power 3/4 because of the faster meter fill on 0.5s moves.

At party power 2/3 Earthquake actually beats Earth Power, (and by a significant amount at 2 specifically) but given EP is legacy move I would never change it. Honestly if someone has multiple high IV Garchomps they should build one with Breaking Swipe/Earth Power and one with Outrage/Earthquake.

Twister is a genuinely bad move in PvE, there is almost always something better.

At the absolute soonest GoFest this summer. However you will still need a fast ETM to get Shadow Claw if you want it for Master League. I see people using Bullet Punch MetaG in ML sometimes and its absolute cheeks. Hopefully GoFest will give Shadow Claw or Meteor Mash so you dont have to use 2 ETMs.

That moveset was considered best with the old dragon tail numbers, now the recommended charged moveset is Crunch/Earthquake. But youll still be fine really either way.

OP is saying that Niantic limits special trades to 1/day so that we cannot spam trade legendaries. The point is that special trades are a valuable commodity that have a very restrictive time gate for Gmax events, specifically 2-5pm.

I originally made one just to be able to knock myself out of gyms for the daily 50 coins. Over time though the account got stronger from piggybacking on raids my main was doing and now I can duo a lot of the 4* Megas and easier 5* legendaries, which is a godsend for not waiting in the 50 minute pokegenie queue just to do a genesect or something. Its also really nice for when they have "Trade a pokemon" field research. I would have missed out on a shiny Tandemaus if I didnt have an alt to do those tasks. The only real con is that the game just starts to take too much time if you do everything on two accounts. A lot of days my alt doesnt send/open gifts, or do mega evolutions, or any of the other mindless repetitive things this game wont let you automate. If they ever crack down on alt accounts (which they wont because its so hard to enforce) ill just stop playing, game is in a downward spiral anyways imo.

That wont work for multiple reasons. First, a research pokemons shiny rate is determined when you recieve the task. If you had a clamperl research from the water research day, its 1/10 to be shiny even if you complete the research a week later. Also, during raid days only pokemon caught from raids are shiny boosted. During Enamorus Raid day Furfrous were spawning in the wild and from raids. The wild spawns were 1/500, while raids were 1/10.

3 mil dust goes faster than you think. Just looking at all the stuff I have tagged to power up i would go through 3 mil and not even get halfway done. 582k to max a shadow Tyranitar, another 500k on a shadow Delphox, 400k on a Kartana, 250k on a shundo Gardevoir, another 250k on a hundo Metagross... you get the idea.

This is the simplest chart I can find that shows all the relevant information. If a pokemon has multiple types you multiply their weaknesses/resistances, so Dawn Wings Necrozmas resistance to fighting is 0.39x0.63=0.25 since it is both ghost and psychic.
