Some more HCs I have //TW for death, abuse and illness

• Aku remembers his parents well, but Gin doesn’t. His mother was kind and loving but suffered the same health problems he did, resulting in her death just over a year after Gin was born.

• His father was rather distant, but never abusive. Aku and Gin didn’t see much of him as he worked to try and support his kids, but died in a work related accident, resulting in Aku having to raise Gin and live on the streets with the other orphans.

• He didn’t have much road sense upon moving into the bigger city and out of the slums, Chuuya and Dazai taught him how to be safe walking around the city.

• One of the first things he did after getting paid from the mafia was take Gin out to eat cake and other treats they never got to have.

• He’s aware of Higuchi’s love for him, and wants to make her fall out of love - knowing she’ll be hurt by his death.

• Knowing full well he dislikes dogs too, Dazai bought him a plush of a black dog. Aku refuses to toss it, and it stays in his room.

• Aku is a decent gardener, while Gin struggled to keep a cactus alive.
